If you haven’t read “Gone Girl” yet, you probably should, because it’s pretty good.

But if you haven’t read it and you’re planning to see the movie, you should just stop reading the casting news about it, including this blog post. They are increasingly full of spoilers for a story that heavily depends on surprises.

The spoiler-free version: Emily Ratajkowski, the cute brunette from Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video, has been cast in a key role in “Gone Girl” that I refuse to tell you anything about, but if you know that “Gone Girl” is about a troubled marriage and that Ratajkowski is best known for her boobs and was born in 1991, you can probably guess.

The spoilerful version: She’s playing Ben Affleck’s mistress.

Rosamund Pike, the British actress last seen on the big screen in Tom Cruise’s “Jack Reacher” is working on a yet another book-to-film adaptation: the hotly anticipated “Gone Girl,” based on the bestselling 2012 novel by Gillian Flynn.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Pike will play a wife who goes missing, making her husband (Affleck) the prime suspect in the David Fincher-helmed movie.
