Whooo!

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who crushed it flat at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards as hosts, will take not one, but two victory laps. They’ll host next year’s 2014 Globes and the 2015 Globes.

The Hollywood Foreign Press made the dreams of a nation come true with this tweet: “Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return as hosts of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, and the 72nd in 2015. #Television #actors” #love #beauty #rolemodels #truelove. Those last few hashtags were mine, in case you couldn’t tell.

Two whole years! Just think how much could change by then. Tina Fey could be running for president. Amy Poehler might be married to George Clooney. Both of them will probably have learned to fly. Anything is possible. They’re golden angels made of fairy dust and dreams.

Amy will have to fit the Globes into her busy multi-sitcom schedule: The “Parks and Recreation” star is teaming up with her baby brother Greg to create a sitcom based on his life. The new show is unlikely to step on Parks & Rec’s toes: It’s set in Sweden, where it will also be filmed.
