The Word: Dolly Parton was in a minor car crash

Dolly Parton is resting comfortably after a minor car crash. The country star was briefly hospitalized for minor injuries after what she described as a “fender bender.”

Dolly was riding shotgun in an SUV driven by her childhood friend, 68-year-old Judy Ogle, when another car failed to yield, according to CNN. Dolly and Judy were treated and released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Parton quickly tweeted reassurance to her fans.

At least Dolly’s chest is well insulated. Do those things inflate in case of emergency?

Speaking of car crashes: It looks like Dolly’s wayward goddaughter Miley Cyrus has gotten over her ditched engagement to Liam Hemsworth pretty quickly, as the “Wrecking Ball” singer is reportedly smitten with Rolling Stone magazine heir Theo Wenner, according to Radar Online.

“She’s definitely dating him,” a source says. “Miley talks about how hot Theo is and how nice he’s been to her. She’s definitely completely in lust with him.”
