You know how Tumblr feels about Benedict Cumberbatch? Well, that’s roughly how Benedict Cumberbatch feels about Harrison Ford.

The star of “Sherlock” and “The Fifth Estate” was on the British talk show “The Graham Norton Show.” Also a guest on the program? Harrison Ford. Turns out the two had met before, though Ford seemed to have only the dimmest memories of it. “I met you at our agent’s party,” Cumberbatch explained. “I made a complete idiot of myself. I came up to you and I said, ‘I’m a really, really big fan. I really am. I used to fantasize about you.’”

He meant he used to fantasize about being Indiana Jones and Han Solo, but apparently couldn’t quite get the words out. So how did the famously shy Harrison Ford react? “‘I guess it takes all kinds,’” Cumberbatch claims he said.

They may have more opportunities to embarrass each other: Both stars hemmed and hawed about whether they’ll appear in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Wars” sequel. You can watch Benedict’s charming British fanboyishness below.
