George Clooney hasn’t found love (yet)
Despite thousands of samples, it turns out George Clooney just hasn’t met the right woman yet. As part of a questionnaire by artist Tracy Emin used for a “text portrait” of the actor in W magazine, Clooney was asked who the love of his life is or was.
His response? ”I haven’t met her yet.”
But don’t feel too bad for Clooney, as the hardworking actor has at least managed to find a way to avoid homesickness. “I spend eight months a year in a one-bedroom hotel room in a city I probably wouldn’t vacation in,” he says. “But no city, no space fails to be a home if your family and friends can find the time to visit. I get desperately, depressingly homesick if I can’t find a way to be near the people that bring joy wherever they go.”
And if those friends visit, they better bring a basketball. In a recent interview with Esquire, Clooney bragged about his b-ball game against Leonardo DiCaprio. “We’re all, like, 50 years old, and we beat them three straight: 11–0, 11–0, 11–0. And the discrepancy between their game and how they talked about their game made me think of how important it is to have someone in your life to tell you what’s what. I’m not sure if Leo has someone like that,” he told the mag.
