Country star Trace Adkins brawls with his impersonator

Never in my life have I considered going on a country music-themed cruise. But anchors aweigh, y’all, because apparently they are amazing.

Country star Trace Adkins was on just such a country cruise Monday, headed to Jamaica, when he ran into trouble in the form of his own doppelganger. Trace, who’s sober, had apparently fallen off the wagon and was drinking heavily, according to TMZ. He ran into a Trace Adkins impersonator doing karaoke as him. Trace and Trace Prime got into some sort of altercation, which culminated in a fistfight.

Getting in a brawl with yourself must be the ultimate wake-up call, because the country star didn’t finish the cruise — Trace reportedly left when the ship docked in Jamaica and checked himself into rehab. No word on whether his impersonator did the same.
