What are those Kardashians up to these days? Don’t ask Bruce Jenner: He’s no longer keeping up.

The Kardashian-Jenner patriarch, ex-husband of Kris Jenner and ex-stepfather of Kim Kardashian, has reportedly decided he will not be in the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” The show is filming its 11th season, and if E! renews the series for a 12th, Bruce will not appear, according to TMZ.

The 64-year-old former Olympic athlete apparently wants to spend his golden years golfing, flying helicopters, riding motorcycles and spending time with his kids — especially his sons from his previous marriages, Brody, Brandon and Burt, with whom he’s grown closer recently.

Wholesome dad stuff is hardly the only big change in Bruce’s life, though: He recently underwent a tracheal shave, a cosmetic surgical procedure meant to reduce the appearance of the Adam’s apple. The procedure is frequently a step in male-to-female sexual reassignment, but Bruce denies that he is becoming a woman: “I just never liked my trachea,” he insists.

I, for one, would prefer to see that conversation play out on television, but it’s hard to quarrel with anyone’s decision to leave the weird Kardashian fame factory.
