Video: In new ‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 trailer, vengeance is Arya’s

On “Game of Thrones,” the noble Stark clan are everybody’s favorite punching bags (and stabbing bags, and beheading bags, and forced-marriage-to-dwarves bags). Will season 4 be the year that the beleaguered Starks finally get to mete out a little punishment in return?

If Arya Stark has her way, it will be.

“Joffrey. Cersei. Tyron Lannister. The Red Woman. I can’t sleep until I say their names,” she intones in this new trailer for the fourth season of “Game of Thrones.” “The ones I’m going to kill.”

Arya’s not the only furious female to be found here. “Your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and then you will know the debt is paid,” Cersei says to someone, but that’s more or less how Lannisters say hello, so it may not mean much.

The trailer ends on a promise from Daenerys: “I will do what queens do. I will rule.” Tyrion is also around at some point, but if this trailer is anything to go by, this season will be all about the ladies.

This short trailer follows a much longer behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the upcoming season, including glimpses of Joffrey’s wedding and an important new character, Oberyn Martell.
