A new lawsuit accuses director Bryan Singer of sexual assault against a minor. The plaintiff, Michael Egan, accused Singer, whose new movie “X-Men: Days of Future Past”comes out May 23, of forcing him to drink and do drugs, and sexually assaulting him multiple times.

Egan, who was 17 at the time of the alleged assaults in 1998, was then an aspiring model and actor. He claims he met the director through a Hollywood sex ring run by Marc Collins-Rect0r, a producer and convicted sex offender. He says that Collins-Rector put him on the payroll and required him to have sex with adults.

Egan says Singer forced him to do cocaine and other drugs that incapacitated him, made him perform oral sex in a jacuzzi where he couldn’t breathe, and forcibly raped him. Graphic details of the alleged assaults detailed in the lawsuit were published by The Wrap.

Egan claims that Singer would placate him with promises of movie roles that never materialized.

Through his lawyer, Martin Singer, the director denied the charges.

“We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit,” his attorney told The Wrap. “It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan’s new movie is about to open in a few weeks.”
