Did you know there’s a reality show called “I Want to Marry Harry”? It’s a “Joe Millionaire”-type deal, where a bunch of women compete for the affections of a random ginger Englishman they’ve been told is Prince Harry. It’s incredibly mean, but those contestants may have the last laugh: Harry is, in fact, single again, and available for marrying. I hope one of them snags him.

Prince Harry, the fun-loving royal who’s currently fourth in line for the English throne, has reportedly split from his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, according to the Daily Mirror. The move comes as a surprise: Earlier this year, the two were said to be getting serious and many royal-watchers expected them to get engaged.

Cressida, known as Cressie to her friends, met Harry in 2012 through his cousin, Princess Eugenie. Cressida comes from nearly as posh a lineage as Harry himself: Her grandfather was Francis, the 5th Earl Howe, and her mother Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon is heir to the Curzon banking fortune. Despite (or I suppose perhaps because of) her poshness, Cressida is far less conservative than fellow royal-wooer Kate Middleton: She studies modern dance, dresses in a far more bohemian manner and is known for her love of hair scrunchies. Note to “I Want to Marry Harry” hopefuls: Ixnay on the unchies-scray.
