Deschutes Brewerys Phila Gonia East Meets West

Deschutes Brewerys Phila Gonia East Meets West

Deschutes Brewery brings its Base Camp for Beer Fanatics campaign to Philadelphia for an amazing slate of specialty beer tastings and events. Deschutes brewers, ambassadors and fanatics will be on hand – all the way from Oregon – to provide some in-the-trenches insight into some courageously crafted brews.

Base Camp is a place where Deschutes Breweryoffers beer fanatics a spot to “pitch a tent” of sorts – and find their footing with the cornerstone of Mirror Pond Pale Ale. Deschutes Brewery Base Camp is a celebration of Mirror Pond’s easy-drinking goodness, along with many more of the brewery’s passion-heavy, pioneering brews. The Deschutes Brewery team is traveling around to cities all over, providing passionate fans with a seriously fun exploration of beer.

The best of two worlds collide in this true “East meets West” collaboration event featuring Oregon-inspired Philadelphia food prepared with the help of Deschutes Brewery’s Executive Chef, Jeff Usinowicz.  London Grill was the very first bar in Pennsylvania to tap Deschutes Brewery’s beloved Mirror Pond Pale Ale this summer and hosted a Philly Beer Week beer dinner for them three years ago. In celebration, the Deschutes Brewery crew will be in the house once again sharing pints of beers like Black Butte Porter, Chainbreaker White IPA, Jubelale, Chasin’ Freshies Fresh Hop IPA.  Rare beers like Collage and Black Butte XXIV (the ONLY keg in all of PA) are part of The Stoic multi-course dinner only. Live blues music by the Carol Moog Band.

Special menu and pricing:

    • The BurnsideBeer Flight and Cheese Tasting $15
    • Lewis and Clark Expedition:  3 Beers and Nosh Pairings $35
    • The Stoic:  Multi-Course Dinner and Beer Pairings, including special rare beers at 7pm $65
