MLB All Star 5K and Fun Run

The fourth MLB All-Star Game 5K & Fun Run presented by Nike will take place on Saturday, July 13th  in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to charities supporting relief from Superstorm Sandy.

Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to create their own fundraising team profile page online. The top fundraisers will have the chance to win special All-Star experience prizes including tickets to All-Star events, throwing out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the Home Run Derby and the chance to join celebrities and Hall of Famers on a team competing in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. Prizes also will be awarded to the race’s top finishers.

All participants will receive an exclusive All-Star 5K & Fun Run t-shirt.

Packet pick up will be available at Niketown Atrium (6 East 57th Street, between Fifth and Madison Avenues) on Thursday, July 11th and Friday, July 12th from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

Join Mr. Met, baseball legends, and celebrities for this fun, fast and exciting All-Star themed 5K run—officially timed by the New York Road Runners—and  family-friendly 1.5 Mile Fun Run immediately following the 5K.
