WGBH hosting two summer events on July 13.  FunFest returns with family activities 11am-4pm; Inaugural Craft Beer Fest 7pm-10pm

BOSTON, Mass. (June 14, 2013) – There are few things more refreshing in mid-July than ice cream and a cold beer. WGBH will host two events on Saturday, July 13 to help Boston area residents stay cool: a return of the WGBH FunFest from 11am to 4pm and the first-ever WGBH Craft Beer Fest from 7pm to 10pm. Both events will be held at WGBH Studios (One Guest Street, Brighton).

Both events are expected to sell out, and WGBH is recruiting volunteers to accommodate the 2,000+ attendees.

Descriptions of both events follow:

·         The WGBH Craft Beer Fest will feature New England’s finest flavors from regional breweries, including Boston Beer Works, Slumbrew, Pretty Things and more. Attendees will enjoy live music and have an opportunity to learn from experts and brewers what goes into brewing the best local beers. WGBH members can purchase tickets for $40.
