Three people were seriously injured when a school bus collided with a car in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, DNAinfo.com reports.

The crash, near East 5th Street and Avenue C in Kensington,  took place around 7 a.m. and left both the front of the bus and driver’s side of the car badly damaged.

Two of the injured were reportedly taken to Kings County Hospital while the third was taken to Maimonides Medical Center. The ages and identities of the patients have not been released.

The cyclist had been traveling eastbound on Eastern Parkway when he was hit by the taxi going the same direction at about 1:15 a.m. He was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Daily News reports that the man was wearing a helmet but was not carrying any identification.

The driver of the livery cab remained on the scene, police said. An investigation is ongoing.

A man was struck and killed by an MTA bus Wednesday in front of Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, according to police.

The victim was walking onto the street in between two parked cars when he was hit by an oncoming Q53 bus at approximately 7:36 p.m. The incident occurred in front of Elmhurst Hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead on arrival.

The bus remained on the scene. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing.

An elderly man and a dirt bike rider were injured Sunday night in the Bronx when a cop car bumped the dirt bike, causing it to strike the pedestrian.

A 20-year-old man was driving the dirt bike about 5:30 p.m. when a police cruiser bumped it, forcing it to flip and hit a 77-year-old man who was waiting to cross the street at Boston Road near Thwaites Place in Pelham Gardens, witnesses told the New York Post. The 20-year-old was part of a larger group of riders on bikes and four-wheelers, witnesses said.

Police have contradicted the witnesses’ accounts, saying there was no contact between the cop car and the bike. The cruiser was making a U-turn when the dirt bike spun out of control as the driver tried to flee, cops told the Post.

Both the pedestrian and the dirt-bike rider were recovering at Jacobi Medical Center.

Flavia Roman, 55, was suspended on Thursday after 6-year-old Amar Diarrosova was run down by a tractor-trailer as he was crossing First Avenue at 117th Street. Roman was not at the intersection even though she was supposed to be on duty. She told reporters she was taking a break.

Carroll has been given a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian and another for failure to exercise due care. Local City Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito commented on the incident this afternoon, calling it "an absolute tragedy," and offering condolences to the Diarrosova family. "My office has been in touch with the local police precinct through the day... so that we can understand the specifics of what took place and see what action might be needed to prevent a similar horrific accident," Mark-Viverito said.   Metro's original story is below. A six-year-old boy was killed by a tractor-trailer in East Harlem Thursday morning crossing the street on his way to school, while the school crossing guard was taking a break. The boy was crossing First Avenue on his way to school with his nine-year-old brother when the vehicle turned right off of 117th Street and struck him, police said. They were half a block from PS 155. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead from severe head injuries. His identity is being withheld until the family can be notified. The older brother was unharmed. The crossing guard was in tears as she told 1010 WINS that she had stepped away from her post for a five-minute bathroom break. The truck driver didn’t realize he had hit anyone until witnesses flagged him down a block away, according to a law enforcement source. He returned to the scene and was not charged.
