President, First Lady visit Marathon blast victims at Boston hospitals

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama left this morning’s interfaith service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and are meeting with patients, families and staff at separate Boston hospitals.

Mass. General surgeon: Amputees happy to be alive after marathon blasts

As post-surgical patients awoke in Massachusetts General Hospital today, many told their doctors they are thankful to be alive following Monday’s explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line.

3 dead, more than a hundred hurt in Boston Marathon explosions

Massachusetts General Hospital is treating at least four patients who had “traumatic amputations of their legs” from the explosion at the Boston Marathon, the hospital’s chief of emergency services said.
