An MTA employee and an accomplice have been charged with conspiring and stealing $4,000 in cash from a Queens subway station last week.

Tracy King, 48, who worked at the 111th Street station off the 7 line in Queens, allegedly had her friend duct tape her hands and mouth and steal the cash from the subway booth, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office. She planned to split the money with the robber.

“Instead of being the alleged victim of a gunpoint robbery at her job, the MTA employee charged in this case is accused of staging the purported robbery and splitting the proceeds of the crime with an accomplice,” said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

King told police that she was working at the station around 11 a.m. last Saturday when a man arrived at the station dressed in a reflective contractor’s vest and asked for the keys to the employees’ break room. Inside the break room, the robber pointed a revolver and a stun gun at King as he placed duct tape on her hands and mouth, King told cops. The man then allegedly went to the ticket booth and took $4,000. King was discovered by other MTA employees who called police to report the robbery.

Police arrested Anthony Brown, 42, after they lifted a fingerprint off a plastic container in the break room. Brown told police that the robbery was King’s idea. He also said he was not armed and that he has known King for about 10 years. Phone records revealed that King and Brown had talked as recently as the day before the robbery.

Cops also recovered $2,334 in cash from inside Brown’s girlfriend’s Queens apartment.

Brown and King face charges of third- and fourth-degree grand larceny, defrauding the government, fifth-degree conspiracy and third-degree falsely reporting an incident. They each face up to seven years in prison if convicted.

A 78-year-old Bronx man is uninjured after being mugged early Friday morning while holding flowers he intended to leave on his mother’s grave, DNAinfo.com reports.

The man was walking near Tremont and Honeywell Avenues in West Farms when two men accosted him, police said. A security video shows the victim fighting back as the men wrestled him to the ground and pulled a gold chain off his neck.

Police nearby witnessed the robbery and gave chase. They captured one of the men, Charles Hackett, 23. The other made it to a silver vehicle and drove off.

Police are searching for a 21-year-old man wanted in the rape and robbery of a woman at gunpoint in a Brooklyn park last year. 

The attack occurred almost a year ago on May 29, 2012. Police were recently able to identify Damien Hollis as a suspect thanks to a positive DNA hit.

Cops say Hollis approached a 26-year-old woman early on the morning of May 29, 2012, at a bus stop located at East New York and Ralph avenues. He brandished a firearm and ordered her to walk to Lincoln Terrace Park, where he raped her. He then took the victim’s cell phone and fled.

Hollis is described as about 6 feet tall and 160 lbs. with short black hair and brown eyes.

Cops are looking for a man who took $500 from a child’s hand.

According to police, on Friday shortly before 11 a.m., a woman, 43, was inside a liquor store on East 163rd Street when her 3-year-old son took $500 out of her jacket pocket.

The mother did not realize this happened, cops said, but the suspect saw and took the money from the kid’s hand. He then fled the store.

Cops described the man as a dark-skinned male in his early 30s, 5-foot-9 and about 240 pounds.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a 13-year-old girl at gunpoint in the Bronx last week.

The suspect approached the girl at approximately 3 p.m. on April 29 on Broadway, police said. He displayed a gun and demanded her cell phone. The victim complied and the suspect fled.

Cops released a surveillance photo of the suspect. He is described as a white male wearing dark clothing.

An armed suspect allegedly robbed a Chipotle in Manhattan last week and got away with $6,000 in cash, police said.

Cops are searching for the man who entered the restaurant at 320 Park Ave. in Midtown just before midnight on April 25. The suspect pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money from the store safe, cops said.

He also allegedly forced one employee to tie up a second employee using zip ties during the robbery. He then fled with the cash.

The suspect is described as being approximately 6-foot or 6-foot-1, between 200 and 225 lbs, wearing black jeans, a black Northface jacket, black hooded sweatshirt and a black winter hat with a white emblem on the front. He was also wearing white gloves with red palms.

Police are searching for two men who robbed a crowded Bronx hair salon at gunpoint last week while a surveillance camera recorded the whole incident.

The robbers entered El Truco Hair Salon on Ogden Avenue in Highbridge at approximately 6 p.m. on April 21, cops said. One of the men displayed a black semi-automatic firearm and ordered everyone to the back of the store while the second suspect removed money and property from seven people and placed it in a red and black backpack.

The store’s owner told NBC News that there were children with their parents inside the salon at the time of the robbery, including an 18-month-old girl. One of the suspects pointed the gun at the girl because she was crying too much, the owner said.

The suspect carrying the gun is described as a black male, approximately 6-foot-2 and 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a black Yankees cap and black pants.

The suspect carrying the backpack is described as a black male approximately 5-foot-10, 170 lbs. and last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket, a brown hoodie and black Adidas pants.

Cops are searching for four men wanted in connection with an assault and robbery in Bushwick last week.

The suspects approached a male victim in front of 379 Grove St. at approximately 3:30 a.m. on April 20, police said. They physically assaulted him and removed his property. The men fled eastbound on Grove Street and southbound on Wyckoff Street.

The four suspects are being described as Hispanic males. Police released images of the men taken from a surveillance video.

A 38-year-old woman was sexually assaulted and then robbed by two men in the Bowery neighborhood of Manhattan after she asked them for directions, police said.

The victim approached the suspects near Chrystie Street and Grand Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 15, according to police. She asked the two men for directions, and the first suspect walked with her in the direction she needed to go.

The second suspect followed the two, grabbed the woman from behind and pinned her against the wall. The first suspect proceeded to punch her in the ribs and thigh. He then sexually assaulted her before removing her property and fleeing.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect accused of sexually assaulting the victim.

Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video robbing a Bronx grocery store at gunpoint while wearing what appears to be a police shield around his neck.

The suspect entered the store at 182 E. 166th St. about 10:25 p.m. on March 21 wearing a shield around his neck, police said. The man is seen on the video holding a firearm and ordering customers to the back of the store. He then points the gun at a worker and orders him to remove money from the register. He fled with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

Police have arrested a 33-year-old Bronx man who is accused of violently attacking and sexually assaulting at least four different women during the past month and a half.

Miguel Lopez is the man police have been searching for since Feb. 24 when he allegedly first attacked a 27-year-old victim as she was walking to the train near 161st Street in the late afternoon. He allegedly grabbed the woman from behind, punched her repeatedly and then sexually assaulted her.

Lopez attacked three other women in the Bronx, mostly in the early morning or late at night. He often punched his victims and sometimes threatened them with a knife or box cutter.

The most recent incident occurred March 31 in Bedford Park. The suspect followed a 40-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man into an apartment building and robbed them at knifepoint. He then continued to follow the female victim, forced his way into her apartment and raped her.

Lopez faces a number of charges, including sexual abuse, rape, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police are looking for a woman who robbed at least eight different people over the span of two months in Queens and Staten Island.

Cops say Rehana Hussain, 43, targets mostly women as they are shopping, often taking their wallet or purse when the victim is distracted.

On Jan. 20, the suspect stole a wallet from a woman who was waiting at the cash register inside a Century 21 department store on Junction Boulevard in Queens. The thief struck again later the same day inside Shine Beauty Salon in Astoria where she stole from a victim’s handbag while it was left unattended.

The most recent incident occurred on Feb. 28 inside a Marshall’s store at 34-27 48th St. in Queens. The victim said she left her purse in a shopping cart unattended and noticed it was missing when she returned.

She has also targeted victims inside a Panera Bread, a DSW shoe store and Costco.

The suspect’s last known address is 143-48 41st Ave. in Flushing, Queens.

The suspect is seen on surveillance video following the victim down a flight of stairs and then attacking her. He repeatedly punches her and throws her to the ground. When the woman tries to get away, the suspect gets violent with her again. He finally empties the victim’s purse, removes some items and then takes off.

The man is described as white or Hispanic, in his 20s and weighing about 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with “Alpha Phi Delta” on the front and the word “Stugotz” above the number 27 on the back.

Police are searching for a woman who swiped a cellphone, watch and wallet from a man who was sleeping on a subway in Brooklyn Monday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. on the N train near the Ninth Street station in Park Slope. The man woke up and found that his cellphone, watch and wallet were missing, police said. The woman was later caught on surveillance video using the victim’s ATM card.

The suspect is described as a white female.

Police are searching for a suspect who punched a 35-year-old man inside a Manhattan subway station and then ran off with his iPhone early Monday morning, cops said.

The NYPD released a video of the incident that occurred inside the Times Square-42nd Street subway station about 12:02 a.m. The suspect is seen talking to the victim near the turnstiles, looking around in multiple directions and then punching the victim to the ground.

Zanus Gory, 25, entered Clinton Express Deli Corp. in Tremont about 7:15 a.m. on March 16, police said. He went behind the counter, grabbed a knife, threatened the employee and fled on foot with money from the cash register.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing 150 lbs.

Police are searching for three teen girls who punched a 15-year-old victim on a Brooklyn bus and stole her iPhone.

The suspects approached the girl on the B103 bus at about 4 p.m. on March 11. They punched her, took her iPhone and then got off the bus near Church Avenue and East 3rd Street, according to police.

The thieves are described as black females approximately 15 to 17 years old.

Police said the assailant was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and a purple ski hat.

He approached the woman as she was entering her apartment building around 7:10 p.m. on March 7, punched her in the face, and made off with her purse.

Her credit cards, cell phone and wallet were inside the purse.

The woman refused medical attention at the scene, cops said.

Police have provided a surveillance video and photo of the suspect, and are asking the public to call 800-577-TIPS with any information.

Police are looking for a man who slashed a livery cab driver’s hand and robbed him in the East Tremont section of the Bronx last week.

The suspect got into the cab at approximately 4:40 a.m. on March 6 at East 181st Street and Southern Boulevard. The man then asked the victim, 68, to stop at East 181st Street and Hughes Avenue. When the car stopped, the suspect slashed the driver’s right hand and demanded money, police said. He fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital and released.

Police are searching for a man they say robbed two Manhattan businesses and attempted to rob two others all in one day.

In each of the incidents, the suspect passed a note and demanded cash. He first targeted a Chase Bank on Seventh Avenue near 37th Street just before 10 a.m. on March 8. He fled without any cash.

The suspect then entered a FedEx store on 35th Street where he fled the location with an unknown amount of cash. At about 1:50 p.m., the robber entered a Modell’s store on Broadway near Liberty Street. He demanded cash but fled without any money. Finally, he robbed an IHOP restaurant on Varick Street at about 2:45 p.m. He fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 lbs.

Police are searching for a man who committed a robbery inside a Subway restaurant in the Wakefield neighborhood in the Bronx on Saturday.

The suspect entered the sandwich store located at 980 E. 233 St. at around 7:30 p.m., police said. He displayed a firearm and demanded money from a 15-year-old female victim. The girl complied and the man fled with the money. It is not clear whether the victim was an employee or a customer.

The robber is being described as a black male between 5 foot 9 inches and 5 foot 10 inches tall. He had a band-aid under his left eye and was last seen wearing red-hooded sweatshirt and a Yankee cap.

Police are searching for three men who robbed an elderly man at gunpoint in Queens this past weekend.

The suspects entered a commercial location near the corner of 24th Street and 35th Avenue in Astoria at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Saturday carrying cardboard boxes, police said. Once they were let inside, one of the robbers displayed a firearm and the suspects demanded money from the 78-year-old victim. The victim complied and the men fled with an unknown amount of money.

Two of the suspects are described as black males in the 20s. The suspect who held the gun is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s. They were all wearing a hoodie and a jacket.

Police are looking for a woman who threatened, assaulted and robbed a livery cab driver in the Bronx on Sunday night.

The suspect got into the cab at 145th Street and Third Avenue at around 11 p.m. The cab driver, 28, took the suspect to 10 Richman Plaza in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx. The woman then threatened the driver, assaulted him and fled with an unknown amount of money.

Police are searching for two women who robbed a 29-year-old man in Sunset Park, Brooklyn after telling him they were cops.

The suspects approached the victim near 53rd Street and Fourth Avenue a little after 1 a.m. on Jan. 8. They first demanded his property and offered him sex. After the victim declined and walked away, the women followed him and told him they were police officers. One of the suspects then pushed him to the ground, held her foot on his neck and removed money from his wallet.

The women fled in a black Jeep Cherokee. They are described as being Hispanic, approximately between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Two young men have been charged after they robbed and killed a Queens man before they set his apartment on fire to cover up their crimes this weekend, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.

Stephen Peters, 22, and Jason St. Hill, 17, went to the apartment of Azeem Ali, 43, in the Richmond Hill section of Queens just after midnight on Sunday. After they arrived, Peters allegedly punched and pistol whipped the victim and then tied his hands and feet with electrical cord.

Peters also allegedly took Ali’s ATM card and demanded his PIN number before shooting him in the head. He then poured gasoline around the apartment and set it on fire. The two men allegedly headed to an ATM machine at a nearby gas station where they withdrew $200 from Ali’s account.

The accused men were arraigned in Queens Criminal Court Thursday evening. They are charged with murder, kidnapping, burglary, arson, and robbery, among other charges. They were held without bail and ordered to return to court on March 14.

The man who shot and killed a police officer during a robbery in December was sentenced to 45 years to life in prison on Thursday.

Officer Peter Figoski, 47, responded to the scene of a burglary in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn early on Dec. 12. Lamont Pride and four accomplices were attempting to rob a drug dealer in a basement apartment. As Pride tried to flee, he encountered Figoski and shot him in the face.

Pride, 28, was convicted of second-degree murder, burglary and manslaughter. He was acquitted of first-degree murder which would have bought him a life sentence without parole.

Figoski’s mother, ex-wife and four daughters, ages 15-21, offered emotional statements about how much has been stripped away from their lives and futures with the killing of Figoski, the New York Times reports. But Pride offered no remorse, apologizing only to his own family in his last words before sentencing.

“And I want to let my two brothers know, as long as I got you in my corner till the end, we’re going to stand tall,” Pride said.

Justice Alan D. Marrus gave Pride the maximum sentence–45 years to life–but explained that it is his intention that Pride stays in prison for the rest of his life.

Police are searching for man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman and robbed her in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

The suspect, who is described to be in his early 20s, approached a woman near Decatur Street and Ralph Avenue on Sunday around 6 a.m. He grabbed the woman by the neck, took her money and sexually assaulted her. He then choked the victim before fleeing on foot.

Cops described the suspect as a black male between 5 ft. 6 in. and 5 ft. 9 in. He has a thin mustache and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and blue sneakers.

Cops are trying to identify a man who robbed a Subway sandwich store in Brooklyn.

The suspect walked into the store located at 1432 Myrtle Ave. shortly after 3 a.m. on Tuesday. He ordered a sandwich and while the employee was preparing the sandwich, the suspect displayed a box cutter and demanded money from the cash register.

The man, who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time with the word “PARK” on the back, got away with an undetermined amount of money. No one was injured.
