Anthony Weiner is back on Twitter.

“Will’s here,” says an assistant.

No kidding. His laugh —familiar from 100 episodes of “Fresh Prince” — booms across the Hollywood soundstage, as he arrives to meet me. Despite being the single biggest star on the planet, with a net worth of $200 milion, Smith still comes off as happy-go-lucky — and happy to laugh at his own jokes. [related tag ="Will Smith"]

His son, Jaden, follows behind, serious, yet gracious. A box-office draw in his own right, after “The Karate Kid,” the 14-year-old toplines their new film “After Earth,” set 1,000 years into the future. In it, his trainee braves a planet overgrown by wild creatures, to save his injured father, played by Smith.

The film’s eco-message made them the perfect Special Guests for our Earth Day edition. In an intimate, hour-long chat, the two discussed working together, how to fix the planet, and the inevitable: life with mom. That very week, Jada Pinkett Smith posted a Facebook missive, clarifying earlier statements about her and Will’s “open relationship,” calling it instead a “grown relationship.”

Smith talked about that as best he could, given that his young son was sitting right there with him.

You guys work together, live together — but online, I see videos of Jaden skateboarding, talking about girls—

Jaden: Um-hmm. Um-hmm.

So I wondered—

Will: Wait. [To Jaden] You be talking about girls a whole lot?

J: In interviews, Dad. About them. I’m not online, like, “Hey, girls, hello!” [Mimes taking a photo of himself] Tweet!

Will, how aware are you of what Jaden’s doing?

W: Not much at all. Not much at all. That’s what I like him to think. [Laughs] I have a group of Men in Black that keep up pretty good.

J: This is what I’ve realized: No matter what I do or how I do it, he knows 100 percent of what’s going on.

W: [Laughs]

J: There’s no point in hiding anything because he knows. Whether he acts on it or not, he knows.

How do you know he knows?

J: I just know that he knows. [Both laugh]

W: I heard Jaden’s friend one time, they were sitting around, talking about something and I came in the room and said, “Hi” and walked out of the room and paused for a second and I hear the friend saying, “Dude, I’m telling you, he knows! He knows!” [Both laugh uproariously]

J: He knows, bro.

When was the last time you were punished, Jaden?

W: We don’t do punishment. The way that we deal with our kids is, they are responsible for their lives. Our concept is, as young as possible, give them as much control over their lives as possible and the concept of punishment, our experience has been — it has a little too much of a negative quality. So when they do things — and you know, Jaden, he’s done things — you can do anything you want as long as you can explain to me why that was the right thing to do for your life.

J: It works pretty well.

But most teenagers aren’t naturally introspective. Jaden, do you find yourself asking yourself deep questions about your behavior and acting accordingly?

J: Yeah. Other teenagers go to parties and sometimes I be like, “Why am I here right now?” And most of the time, I just leave right then and there. Some things I don’t like to do, that other teenagers do. Everyone thinks that since you make movies, you go to parties, and I like to party, but not normal teenage parties.

Are you missing out on a good ol’ fashioned American childhood?

J: Not at all. I go out and skate every night. Hang out with people, skate, hang out with more people, skate to their house.

W: [To Jaden] What do you see as the purpose and point? So you’re not going out and partying — what’s the purpose, what’s the point, what are you doing?

J: It’s not like I don’t want to go to parties because I need to study and go to college; I just don’t wanna go. If they’re gonna play house music, I’m maybe interested, but if it’s some random place and they’re playing Waka Flocka Flame….

You’re anti-generic.

J: Exactly.

Will, how and when did you and Jada decide Jaden could handle a full-fledged movie career?

W: You can never be certain. You have an idea, you can feel your kids, but until the things in their lives start to unfold and the things they cause begin to have effects, you can never totally see. But we felt that because they were choosing a business that we were both successful in, then at a minimum, we could give good advice.

You used the phrase “they were choosing” but did they choose? Jaden, you were going to the red carpet when you were in diapers.

J: It was not going to the red carpet so people could see us, it was going to the red carpet because we had free tickets.

W: [Laughs] That’s what our life was. The family has a movie so they’re going.

J: It started with our mom is going to the red carpet, she doesn’t want to leave us with somebody so she’s going to bring us. Then it got to us walking. And then it got to us starring in movies.

Jaden, your music is trippy. It’s far from Will’s feel-good beats. Is that consciously your own thing?

J: I mean, people are already telling me I look like him, that I talk and walk like him. If I rapped like him too, people would be like, “Let’s go on the Fresh Prince Tour.”

Fresh Prince and Fresh Prince Jr. — I would go to that tour.

J: I had to go way left with it because if I came out with a song with me and a bunch of girls in a car with sunglasses on [the Pacific Coast Highway] going ,”Yeah!”, they’d go, “That’s the average thing to do.” Instead I came out with the video for “The Coolest” and people were like, “Whoa! The camera’s going upside down.”

Will, can you even connect to his music, at your age?

W: At 14, his mind is so much deeper and more complex than my mind was at 14 years old. Lyrically, where he goes and what he creates and how the things are conceptually is beyond what I could create at 14 years old.

Or even later in your career: “Miami” is not telling a complex story.

W: Right. Poetically, he’s beyond where I ever go to with my music. My strength is ideas. And record structure. I knew how to make records in the way you get to the hook when the crowd wants it.

J: That’s what you’re really good at. You could go anywhere and be like, “When I say hip, you say hop,” and they’ll all say it! If I go up there, I’ll say, “All right guys, I’m gonna read you a Shakespearean sonnet real quick, here I go.” [Both laugh]

The funniest part to me is the music, the old school sound of the music that I have in some of my songs is like what his old school beats used to sound like. It’s just different. We’re the opposite, but similar in some ways.

The DNA.

W: That’s my seed. Remember where you came from.

Jaden, would you produce Will’s album?

J: If you decided, like, “All right Jaden, I’m serious, I want to make an album”...

W: Oh, if I was serious?

J: I mean, you have movies to make. Businesses you want to start. You’re a busy man.

W: I see how it is.

Jaden may be too big for you, Will.

W: I know, I know. He’s very serious and very focused and has a very rare combination of talent, desire, willingness and means. Which verrrrry, very rarely do those things come together and converge in the proper timing. So I’m excited to see what he decides to do with his life.

Jaden, what happens when you’re 18 and Will kicks you out of the house.

J: We’ll probably work together ‘till he retires and he probably won’t retire.

W: [Laughs] No we’ve been talking about, he’s been thinking about becoming an emancipated minor.

J: Just thoughts that pop into my head.

They made a movie about that — a girl divorced her parents.

J: Really!

Rent that, get some tips.

W: [Laughs] No, it’s not like that. More the idea that, I want him to have as much command and freedom if he is willing to accept responsibility. Those are two concepts that are inexorably bound. So he’s a very responsible young man so he’s entitled to the maximum freedom. [To Jaden] I said “inexorably.” You heard that? Someone Google that for Jaden.

Justin Bieber, who you’re both friends with, has been in the press for some growing pains. Did you learn anything from his last six months?

W: I talk to Justin once a week and Justin is suffering from immature adulthood in the media and surrounding world. Justin’s not doing anything that a normal 19-year-old wouldn’t want to do and wouldn’t need to do to become a man. The transition from boyhood to manhood is a very difficult transition that he’s handling on a world stage better than 95 percent of the people who talk s— about him.

Bieber’s on Twitter. Jaden, you’re on Twitter. Will, what’s up?

J: He doesn’t have one. Usually there’ll be people who have a Twitter. He doesn’t have one. He likes Facebook.

W: I got 44 million people on Facebook. I’m just saying. I don’t know how many people you got on Twitter.

J: I knew you were going to say that.

W: I’m just saying, I don’t know how many people you got. How many people?

J: Four million.

W: Four million. Yeah. I got that after my first number.

J: I feel like people on Facebook will just randomly follow just anybody.

W: [Laughs hysterically]

Jada’s on Facebook.

W: Oh!

J: Oh!

Will + Jaden: Ohhhhhh!

W: Oh, Mommy be going in!

J: My mom goes in on Facebook! She goes in!

Is she aware other people can read what she writes?

[Both laugh loudly]

J: She’ll be like—

W: She’ll call a family meeting.

Will + Jaden: [Doing Jada impression] “I’m posting this on Facebook!”

J: [continuing impression] “I don’t care what people say. If we get hit for this, this is what the truth of the world is.’”Uh, okkkkay mom. She’ll be on the phone with a manager, “I don’t care what they said, I’m posting this on Facebook.” I think she should write a book.

W: Jada is very serious and opinionated and she loves Facebook because it’s the only place she’s ever had where she’s felt like all of her can be received. She’s struggled her whole life where only a part of her is OK.

In her posts, she can take a generality and break it down into a truth. She posted recently about you having a “grown relationship.”

W: A “grown relationship.” [Looks down]

Anything to add?

W: She put some serious, hardcore truth out there. [Pauses] And I think, the five minutes we have left, aren’t gonna be enough to cover it. [Laughs]

OK, onto the Earth Day issue then?

W: Yes! Earth Day! Please!

J: If you decided, like, “All right Jaden, I’m serious, I want to make an album”…

W: Yes! Earth Day! Please!

Former congressman Anthony Weiner is considering a run for mayor, according to a new interview with The New York Times Magazine.

Weiner, who resigned in 2011 after a sexting scandal, said in the interview that it is "now or maybe never" for him to return to politics. Weiner added that he still does not know if he wants to run or not, and the fact that he doesn't know may be a sign that he shouldn't, the Times reports.

The interview, which is to be published in print this Sunday, delves into the post-scandal life of the former congressman and his wife Huma Abedin. He is a changed man, the two say. Weiner has been enjoying the past year and a half as a stay-at-home father in the family's new apartment on Park Avenue South, miles away from the Queens home where reporters parked themselves for days while the scandal unraveled in the spring of 2011.

Weiner first tweeted a shirtless photo himself to a female follower on May 27, 2011. He claimed for days that someone had hacked his account, until he finally held a news conference and admitted to posting the photo and maintaining several inappropriate online relationships.

Weiner paid to have a poll conducted earlier this year to gauge whether or not voters would take him seriously as a candidate, according to The Times. The former congressman considered running for mayor during the Democratic primary in 2005 and in 2009, but he never did.

To qualify for public funding, Weiner would have to declare his candidacy by June 10.

Social media and search engine giants led the way with April Fool's Day spoofs this morning as Google, Youtube and Twitter all got in on the act.

Youtube released a video Sunday evening saying that as of midnight it was closing down the service and choosing a winner for the best video ever posted on the site in its eight year history.

Tom Liston, communications director at YouTube, says in a video: "We are so close to the end. Tonight at midnight, YouTube.com will no longer be accepting entries. After eight amazing years, it's finally time to review everything that has been uploaded to our site and begin the process of selecting a winner."

The video features cameos from YouTube celebrities such as Antoine Dodson, David After Dentist and Charlie and his brother (from the video "Charlie Bit My Finger" video), all talking about their efforts to be named best clip on the website.

Twitter said that as of April 1 it was launching a two-tier service: a basic, free Twitter account that did not include vowels, and one that did, for a fee of $5 a month. The aim was to encourage more 'dense' forms of communication, said Twitter, although the letter 'y' could always be used for free.

Google launched its latest feature - treasure maps. Users were encouraged to go to Google maps and click an icon on the top right hand corner marked 'Treasure'. The new 'service', said Google, used a spyglass in the Street View feature to reveal pirate-style treasure maps.

Elsewhere Sir Richard Branson revealed plans for the world's first glass-bottomed plane; and the UK's achingly right-on Guardian newspaper announced the launch of 'augmented reality' glasses that, when worn by its readers, would automatically filter out bigoted views.

Another FDNY employee has come under fire for racist tweets, the NY Post reported, the second in as many weeks.

Despite a warning from the EMS union in January tipping members off that the department was keeping an eye out for inappropriate uses of social media, Timothy "Bad Lieutenant" Dluthos didn't stop using his Twitter account — even the recent outing of fire commissioner Sal Cassano's 23-year-old son didn't stop Dluhos from tweeting rants mocking and deriding various minority groups.

Joseph Cassano, 23, resigned last Monday over tweets complaining about his job, Jews and African-Americans. [related tag = FDNY]

Dluthos, who tweeted under the name "Bad Lieutenant" with the handle @BKNorthLt and used a picture of Hitler as his avatar, was suspended for 30 days, the Post reported.

He has claimed that he was simply venting due to his stressful job, referring to Bedford-Stuyvesant, the neighborhood in which EMS Station 57 is located, as "like a battlefield."

A source reportedly told the Post that his punishment could range from a fine to termination.

Our baby is growing up so fast. And by baby, we mean Twitter.

Twitter turned seven today. To celebrate, it released a video recapping the history of Twitter from its humble beginnings to present day.

The site was launched on March 21, 2006 and today boasts 200 million monthly active users..

“As we’ve grown, Twitter has become a true global town square – a public place to hear the latest news, exchange ideas and connect with people in real time. This iw shwere you come to connect with the world at large,” wrote Twitter’s Editorial Director Karen Wickre in a blog post.

The video shows ways in which Twitter has helped change the way we get our news. From the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, to Tahrir Square and President Barack Obama’s re-election, users have become citizen journalists.

Twitter isn’t only used as a news service, though. Where would we be if our favorite celebrities weren’t tweeting? Here’s the list of the top seven (get it, in honor of Twitter’s seventh birthday) Twitter accounts with the most followers.

1. @JustinBieber: 36,011,871
2. @LadyGaga: 35,064,313
3. @KatyPerry: 33,617,790
4. @Rihanna: 28,806,073
5. @BarackObama: 28,377,249
6. @TaylorSwift: 24,961,927
7. @BritneySpears: 24,717,490

While the list consists of mainly pop stars – with the exception of President Obama – the tweets that have been re-tweeted the most vary from NFL players, to Wendy’s fast food choice.

Who did you take to senior prom? Was it your high school sweet heart, a close pal or did you go with a group of your pals? Who you bring is a big deal (considering what are ‘big deals’ in

high school) and one California teen is aiming high.

In a YouTube video appropriately tilted “Kate Upton, Will You Go To Prom With Me?” posted on Twitter, Jake Davidson asks the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model to be his guest on May 23.

In the video Davidson sings Upton’s praise. She’s the ying to his yang.

With a self-deprecating since of humor, Davidson describes himself. He’s Jewish, 5’9’’ on a good day, and cannot dance. He always sees the glass full. He’s “Optimist prime,” he says.

Davidson also mentions all the things he and Kate – “Can I call you Katie?” he asks - have in common. They both like sports and fine dining. She’s on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He reads Sports Illustrated.

Upton saw the video herself and responded on Twitter.

During a 60 Minutes profile of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey last night, Lara Logan expressed surprise at the news that Dorsey wants to be mayor of New York City. [related tag ="nyc"]

But as New York Magazine's Daily Intel and Gothamist have pointed out, that's not really news.

Dorsey's political ambitions were referenced in a Forbes profile last year, as well as a 2011 Vanity Fair article.

As a child, Dorsey was apparently "fascinated by cities and what makes them tick," and has repeatedly discussed his love of the "chaotic" atmosphere of New York City, which he mentioned again with Logan last night.

Dorsey has previously talked about Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a fellow billionaire, as a role model, highlighting the mayor's corporate background in technology and start-ups.

Bloomberg has expressed admiration for Dorsey as well.

"Few people have been as successful at innovating—and implementing—as Jack Dorsey," Bloomberg told Forbes. "Could a tech entrepreneur really be elected mayor? That question is so 2001."

Logan brought up the question of how Dorsey might choose to communicate with voters, and Dorsey confessed to an aversion to "face-to-face communication."

"I guess my natural state would be through mediation of letters or through tests, all those mediums, I definitely find ease with," Dorsey said. "Do I feel like I'm an expert in having a normal conversation face-to-face? Absolutely not. That's just not my natural state."

As thousands of faithful gather in St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican to watch smoke pour out of the chimney announcing whether or not a decision for a new Pope has been made, the chimney itself has a few things to say.

A joke Twitter account for @SistineChimney was created back in February when the Pope announced he was resigning. With the cardinals gathered in the Vatican this week, the Twitter account is fired up, pun intended.

Jumping on the Harlem Shake trend, the first tweet of the day reads: “Rumor has it a Conclave Shake meme is in the works once they lock the doors #conclave #Pope”

The Twitter feed doesn’t shy away from poking fun at Americans, and more specifically American tourists.

“btw, while I waited for my moment today, I counted 457 fanny packs in the crowd. AMERICA IN DA HOUSE! #conclave #Vatican”

Since no conclave in the modern era has chosen a Pope on its first day we can expect more funny tweets in the days to come, if the thick black smoke doesn’t choke the chimney that is.

“*COUGH* *COUGH* ... all this black smoke is makin' me sick!”

We’ll be keeping a close eye on this account to see if it breaks the news of the next Pope. One thing’s certain, though. According to @SistineChimney, actor Tom Hanks is out of the running.

“Sadly, Tom Hanks didn't get enough votes today - but the majority of the room loved him in Angels & Demons.”

“*COUGH* *COUGH* … all this black smoke is makin’ me sick!”

We’ll be keeping a close eye on this account to see if it breaks the news of the next Pope. One thing’s certain, though. According to @SistineChimney, actor Tom Hanks is out of the running.

“Sadly, Tom Hanks didn’t get enough votes today – but the majority of the room loved him in Angels & Demons.”

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn officially announced via Twitter and an online video this weekend that she is running for mayor.

The candidate, who was leading in the polls before officially running, tweeted Sunday morning: "It's official: I'm running for mayor to fight for the middle class."

Quinn released a 5-minute biographical video where she talks about growing up in a middle class home in Long Island, her father's union activism, her mother's battle with breast cancer, her accomplishments in the City Council and her vision for the city. [videoembed id=120003]

Though the latest polls have shown she is a favorite among democrats, she has also drawn criticism for being too close of an ally to Mayor Michael Bloomberg and stalling action on the paid sick leave bill. [related tag="politics"]

The resignation of Pope Benedict XVI caught everyone by surprise, except his employer.

We caught up with God, aka David Javerbaum, the 11-time Emmy winning comedian who runs the popular @TheTweetOfGod account and author of ‘The Last Testament: A Memoir by God’. [related tag= Pope Benedict]

Q: @TheTweetOfGod Popes don't resign - has ex-Benedict incurred your wrath by doing this or did you fire him?

A: @Metro I'm not angry. In the end it came down to "creative differences", in that I am infinitely creative and he is different.

@TheTweetOfGod In his final speech he said at tough times “it seemed the Lord was sleeping”. Were you ducking his calls?

@Metro No, he was right. I was sleeping. It was the seventh day of the week. How does he not know what I do on the seventh day? #genesis1bennyboy

@TheTweetOfGod What score would you give his reign?

@Metro I'd give it an IV out of X.

@TheTweetOfGod Are you concerned about the vacuum now he's gone? Who will you speak through on earth now?

@Metro I will continue to speak through the mentally ill and/or con men, and by "and" I mean conservative Republicans.

@TheTweetOfGod How is recruitment for a replacement going – and who would be your ultimate fantasy pope?

@Metro No comment on who the new Pope might be. Obviously My fantasy would be 'Poprah'. But she won't return My calls.

@TheTweetOfGod The pope had a strong social media game - how will you bring the Vatican more in line with the digital era?

@Metro It's pretty hard to bring the "digital era" to a place where, as the names of the Pope indicate, they don't even have digits.

@TheTweetOfGod Will you be reclaiming the Popemobile?

@Metro Not reclaiming, but fixing up. I'm giving it racing stripes, lowriders, and an engine that runs on holy water and Jesus-body.

@TheTweetOfGod Off topic but who are you most keen to send to hell?

@Metro My bill collector. Satan owes me 500 years' back rent.

In an online version of handbags at 10 paces, Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman had a Twitter war on Wednesday afternoon, with both players claiming to take umbrage and dishing out insults. No one emerged looking like a victor. But Sherman didn’t back away from his words one day later when he appeared Thursday morning on the NFL Network’s “NFL AM” show.

Revis took exception to Sherman recently leaving his name off a list of top cornerbacks, as the general consensus is that Revis is the top cornerback in the league and perhaps the most dominant defensive player in the game. This exclusion by Sherman led Revis to tweet on Wednesday, “I never seen a man before run his mouth so much like girl. This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety @rsherman_25.”

In actual words, and not tweets, Sherman defended his Twitter spat.

“He came off disrespectful, so words need to be said. Apparently, he is going to disrespect my game,” Sherman told “NFL AM.” “I don’t know what he has done — stats wise — to earn the right to talk down to people. He has never had more than six [interceptions] in a season so let’s quiet down.”

The numbers don’t tell the full story because quarterbacks rarely throw in Revis’s direction due to his shutdown ability. That hasn’t stopped him from being named to the Pro Bowl four times and being selected as an All-Pro three times. In addition, Revis was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.

Sherman, however, showed no respect for the man nicknamed “Revis Island” due to the way he maroons wide receivers. Then again, Revis showed little respect on Twitter for Sherman, who looks to be an emerging star in Seattle.

“Because I am not going to let no dude talk like a little girl and just walk freely. I am going to quiet him down the best way I know how,” Sherman said. “It is about respect. You are not going to let a guy run his mouth, I am not that kind of person [to] let a guy say bold statements and let them ride. It is not who I am and who I am not going to be.”

Last season, Sherman was named an All-Pro and an alternate to the Pro Bowl.

On Twitter and on “NFL AM,” Sherman cited what he said were his superior stats over Revis. He also had no qualms about putting the feud out there for the whole world to see in 140 characters or less.

“That is where he put it. Wherever the forum was that he was going to play this little game, I was going to step into it,” Sherman said. “The play on the field does speak for itself but when there is a situation that is conflict then the forum is going to be what it is. It just happened to be Twitter this time.”

Burger King suspended its Twitter account after hackers breached the fast-food chain’s social media account.

The account was shut down an hour after the company learned of the attack at about 12:25 p.m. EST, according to Reuters.

“It has come to our attention that the Twitter account for the Burger King brand has been hacked,” the company said in a statement. “We have worked directly with administrators to suspend the account until we are able to re-establish our legitimate site and authentic postings.”

The first fake tweet said: We just got sold to McDonalds! Look for McDonalds in a hood near you.”

The logo on the Twitter handle was change to that of Burger King’s rival, McDonald’s – but spelled McDonald’s wrong.

One tweet said, “Just got sold to McDonalds. FREEDOM IS FAILURE.”

Burger King does not yet know who is responsible for the hack attack.

From race to racy — a former U.S. Olympian has admitted to taking up a different profession after her retirement from running: working as a Las Vegas escort.

Suzy Favor Hamilton competed three times for the U.S. in the Olympic Games of 1992, 1996 and 2000 as a middle-distance runner. She appeared in ads for Nike and Reebok, and even had her own swimsuit calender in 1997. These days, though, she's been keeping lonely high-rollers company in Sin City under the alias "Kelly Lundy."

In a bombshell report, The Smoking Gun discovered that Favor Hamilton, now 44, charged $600-an-hour for a "date." She apparently revealed her true identity to several male clients, who then blabbed about their conquests with the former pro athlete, leading to the revelation of her double life.

The wife and mother of a 7-year-old daughter initially denied her work as a call girl for Haley Heston’s Private Collection when she was confronted by a reporter in the lobby of a Vegas hotel, but eventually admitted to her scandalous career for the past year.

Thursday afternoon, Favor Hamilton, who famously purposefully fell on the track during the 2000 Sydney Olympics 1500m women's final when she realized she would not win the race, took to Twitter to come clean about her dirty deeds, tweeting, "I realize I have made highly irrational choices and I take full responsibility for them. I am not a victim here and knew what I was doing."

She blamed her salacious tendencies on marital problems, adding, "I was drawn to escorting in large part because it provided many coping mechanisms for me when I was going through a very challenging time with my marriage and my life. It provided an escape from a life that I was struggling in. It was a double life."

Favor Hamilton said she is seeking professional help to cope with her decisions.

Lindsay Lohan apparently has a friend in Charlie Sheen, who reportedly offered to help Lohan out with her hefty tax bill while they were filming "Scary Movie 5," though Lohan politely declined the offer at the time, according to Hollyscoop. But sources say Sheen went ahead with the help anyway, sending Lohan's business manager a check for $100,000. Lohan was reportedly so "overjoyed" that she forwarded it to the IRS. The troubled actress owes $233,904 in unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2010.

Chris Brown took on a Twitter critic — and lost. The temper tantrum-prone singer deleted his official Twitter account over the weekend after a lengthy and expletive-filled back-and-forth with comedian and writer Jenny Johnson. Toward the end of the row, Johnson made reference to Brown's 2009 arrest for assaulting girlfriend Rihanna, writing, "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing," to which Brown responded, "Just ask Rihanna if she mad." Brown has been spending time with Rihanna in Europe recently, which would lead one to believe that she is not, in fact, mad.

Prince Charles, who recently celebrated his 64th birthday, may be growing tired of being the longest-waiting heir to the throne in British history, as his 86-year-old mother, the Queen, shows no sign of stepping down. "Impatient? Me? What a thing to suggest! Yes, of course I am," Charles joked with reporters recently, according to the Telegraph. "I'll run out of time soon. I shall have snuffed it if I'm not careful."

Animal-friendly actress Miley Cyrus turned 20 last week, and to celebrate the occasion animal rights group PETA got her a pig. Sort of. The group sponsored a pig in her honor named Nora at a Florida farm that provides refuge to neglected or abused animals, the group announced. "PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals," a PETA spokeswoman says.

After Anne Hathaway chopped off her long brunette locks for the film "Les Miserables," she discovered an unexpected family resemblance. "When I eventually looked in the mirror I just though I looked like my gay brother," Hathaway told a preview screening audience in New York, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, Anthony Weiner has risen to the occasion by taking to his dormant Twitter account to help raise awareness.

The former congressman hadn't tweeted since June 2011, right after he became embroiled in a racy photo scandal that would eventually lead him to step down from office. Weiner, who welcomed a son with wife Huma Abedin last December, has kept a low profile in New York since the public gaffe where he tweeted a photo of his own crotch. Several women came forward after that claiming to have had explicit online communications with him.

Earlier today, he returned to Twitter to post a YouTube link for a short video that shows the devastation left by Sandy in the Rockaways. The tweet did not include any text from Weiner.

In July, the couple did an interview with People magazine amidst rumors that Weiner was considering getting back in the public eye and running for office.

"I can't say absolutely that I will never run for public office, but I'm very happy in my present life," Weiner told People.

His return to Twitter Wednesday has already garnered plenty of attention, including that of Donald Trump, who is fresh off a Twitter meltdown following President Obama's re-election.

"Pervert alert. @RepWeiner is back on twitter. All girls under the age of 18, block him immediately," Trump tweeted.

Ironically, Weiner's last tweet before letting his account go dark for more than a year was a jab at Trump about his pizza eating habits.

"On with Rachel tonight. Gonna talk about Trump eating pizza with a fork! #DudeYoureANewYorker!" Weiner tweeted on June 1, 2011.

Mila Kunis' rep insists that the actress is not pregnant with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher's child despite photos from a recent outing that appear to show the actress sporting a growing baby bump, according to the Daily Mail. "She is not expecting," her rep tells the newspaper. But that doesn't mean motherhood is out of the question for the "Friends with Benefits" star, who expressed her desire to be a parent earlier this year in an interview with Glamour. "I do want a family. I’d rather be in love and have a baby than a movie," she said.

The reports dogging Joe Simpson that he's recently come out of the closet to his family and has been carrying on an affair with a 21-year-old man appear to be effecting his golf game. According to Radar Online, Simpson didn't play with his usual partner at his weekly outing. "Everyone noticed that after reports surfaced that Joe was gay, he didn't play with his regular young, good-looking friend this past Saturday, but played with someone much, much older," a source tells the Web site. "Joe has always played golf at his swanky club MountainGate on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. with a much younger, 20-something male, who isn't a member. Joe's golfing buddy is extremely good looking and Joe is very, very secretive about his identity. Joe never writes the guest's name on the sign-in sheet and never allows any other members to join in while they play golf, which is very, very odd."

While the East Coast braced for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, at least one star wasn't too concerned. "Why is everyone in such a panic about the hurricane?" asked Lindsay Lohan on Twitter, adding that she's calling it Sally instead of Sandy. "Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace."

Angelina Jolie hit a Halloween superstore near Los Angeles this weekend for a bit of last-minute shopping with three of her children, according to Us Weekly. The actress showed up with daughter Shiloh and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, picking up toys and costumes for the kids. "Angelina looked amazing. She definitely looked really healthy and she was really sweet. A few fans came up to her and she was beyond nice to them and talked to every single one of them," A source says. "They were there for close to an hour and they had a pretty large purchase." Among the items purchased was a unicorn costume for Vivienne that she wore out of the store.

Justin Bieber has added yet another tattoo to his growing collection of body art. The pop star posted a photo to Instagram over the weekend showing off an owl inked on his forearm. It's the second tattoo the singer has added in less than two months, following a crown tattooed on his chest last month. The 18-year-old got his first tattoo — a bird silhouette on his hip — when he was 16.

Mila Kunis’ rep insists that the actress is not pregnant with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher‘s child despite photos from a recent outing that appear to show the actress sporting a growing baby bump, according to the Daily Mail. “She is not expecting,” her rep tells the newspaper. But that doesn’t mean motherhood is out of the question for the “Friends with Benefits” star, who expressed her desire to be a parent earlier this year in an interview with Glamour. “I do want a family. I’d rather be in love and have a baby than a movie,” she said.

The reports dogging Joe Simpson that he’s recently come out of the closet to his family and has been carrying on an affair with a 21-year-old man appear to be effecting his golf game. According to Radar Online, Simpson didn’t play with his usual partner at his weekly outing. “Everyone noticed that after reports surfaced that Joe was gay, he didn’t play with his regular young, good-looking friend this past Saturday, but played with someone much, much older,” a source tells the Web site. “Joe has always played golf at his swanky club MountainGate on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. with a much younger, 20-something male, who isn’t a member. Joe’s golfing buddy is extremely good looking and Joe is very, very secretive about his identity. Joe never writes the guest’s name on the sign-in sheet and never allows any other members to join in while they play golf, which is very, very odd.”

While the East Coast braced for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, at least one star wasn’t too concerned. “Why is everyone in such a panic about the hurricane?” asked Lindsay Lohan on Twitter, adding that she’s calling it Sally instead of Sandy. “Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace.”
“Angelina looked amazing. She definitely looked really healthy and she was really sweet. A few fans came up to her and she was beyond nice to them and talked to every single one of them,” A source says. “They were there for close to an hour and they had a pretty large purchase.” Among the items purchased was a unicorn costume for Vivienne that she wore out of the store.

A 15-year-old Staten Island girl leapt in front of a train to her death after some older classmates reportedly bragged about having sex with her.

Felicia Garcia, a freshman at Tottenville High School, tweeted, "I cant, im done, I give up" just two days before she threw herself in front of an oncoming train at the Huguenot station of the Staten Island Railroad, as several classmates helplessly watched in horror.

Garcia was reportedly suffering torment after two senior football players bragged about having sex with her to others at their school. The New York Daily News reports school officials caught wind of the gossip and set up a mediation session Wednesday with Garcia and one of the boys, who denied bullying her.

After the meeting, Garcia reportedly bumped into the other 17-year-old classmate with whom she had sex and the two had a confrontation, though the details of the conversation are unknown.

Shortly after, Garcia committed suicide. Police are questioning her classmates and looking through social media sites to find out exactly what happened to Garcia.

Tumblr users have created posts in her memory and called for a stop to bullying.

"How many more have to die before we stop? We are all to blame for this. It does not matter if you know her or not, we are responsible," the site states.

Justin Timberlake only had room for two of his former *NSYNC band-mates on this guest list for his wedding to Jessica Biel last week, according to Us Weekly. While JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick got to enjoy the lavish event in Southern Italy, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone had to stay home. "Justin thought a reunion would overshadow the wedding," a source says. "And Justin hates Lance now."

Amid all the confusion currently engulfing Lindsay Lohan's personal life, at least the world knew where the troubled actress stood politically — until now. Lohan had previously Mitt Romney in the U.S. presidential election because "employment is really important right now," according to E! News. But while live-tweeting the last presidential debate earlier this week, Lohan voiced her support for President Barack Obama by re-tweeting a post from the president's campaign saying she was "proud of Obama." The tweet was soon deleted, though, so maybe she is on Team Romney after all. It sounds like the debates were rough on the actress, in any event, as she posted: "I'm so relieved that it's over. Maybe more than both of [the candidates]. Severe anxiety."

Eva Longoria and NFL star Mark Sanchez have split up after a couple of months of dating, a rep for Sanchez confirms to Us Weekly. "Mark adores and respects Eva," the rep says. "It was really about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends." And an anonymous source for the magazine confirms the cause: "There was no drama," the source says. "They just have completely different schedules and lifestyles." Longoria confirmed she was dating Sanchez in early September.

Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have upped the ante on their romance by reportedly moving in together, according to the Daily Mail. The pair — along with Williams' daughter, Matilda — set up shop in a new Brooklyn loft in a converted warehouse that overlooks the Manhattan skyline. "Michelle, Jason and Matilda seem very happy here. The building is beautiful," a source says. "They've been here a few months, and they look right at home."

Emma Watson is going back to school. After enrolling in Brown University in the fall of 2009, the British actress took a leave of absence from the Ivy League school in March 2011. "I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything, but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student and fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible," Watson wrote on her blog at the time. She then spent her junior year abroad, studying at Oxford University, before delaying her return to Brown once again to film a number of projects this summer and fall. But her rep assures Gossip Cop that the "Harry Potter" star will be back on campus for the 2013 winter semester.

Amanda Bynes has taken Lindsay Lohan's mantle as Hollywood's favorite troubles starlet — at least as far as getting into auto accidents is concerned — and Ms. Lohan isn't thrilled about it. Specifically, she's miffed that Bynes has apparently gotten off easier with law enforcement for her various vehicular infractions. "Why did I get put in jail and a Nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" Lohan angrily tweeted over the weekend. Bynes is currently facing two separate hit-and-run charges.

The new lineup for the 12th season of "American Idol" is in place, with singers Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban joining already hired Mariah Carey. And original judge Randy Jackson — the only holdover from last season — will keep his spot on the panel. The news was announced on the reality show's Twitter account. Urban had quit his gig as a judge on the Australian version of "the Voice" last week, prompting speculation that he had in fact signed on for "Idol." There's no word yet on what Minaj and Urban will be making, but chances are it won't be as much as Carey, who earns a reported $16 million for one season of the show.

Ben Affleck may like leading a large family — he and Jennifer Garner have three kids, and he's reportedly considering more — but he's still got work to do. "I don't want to be a stay-at-home dad. Work is very important to me," he tell Details magazine. "I like to work. So does my wife. But I need my work to mean something to me in order for me to not be home with them." That's why Affleck is getting choosy with what film projects he takes on: "Anytime you think, 'I'm wasting my time here,' the first thought you have is 'I could go home and be with my kids,'" he says. "Now, you may go home and be with your kids and very quickly start thinking, 'I wonder what's on the work front?' Because running around after three kids is very trying."

Miley Cyrus got a bit mopey the other night with a series of introspective posts to Twitter, causing fans to worry about her happiness. "Ever feel like you want just … something more? Not sure what exactly. Passion perhaps?" she tweeted. "Sometimes I feel like I love everyone more than they love me. Hate that feeling. Maybe it's not that they love you less. They just love you the most they are capable of loving." But Cyrus was quick to clear up any confusion over the state of her engagement to Liam Hemsworth, posting, "No, there is not trouble in paradise.

Chris Brown may have trouble moving copies of his new album, "Fortune," thanks to one record store chain's interesting warnings. At London locations of HMV, copies of Brown's CDs have reportedly been affixed stickers that read, "Warning: Do not buy this album! This man beats women," according to Hollyscoop.

For their top-secret wedding last weekend, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds reportedly wrote their own vows — and kept it light, according to People magazine. "They promised to support and love each other and to make each other laugh," a source tells the magazine. "[Reynolds] said he would treasure Blake. She said she would adore him. The whole time they were beaming." Lively also reportedly got a little misty during the ceremony. "A lot of people started to well up, actually," the source says.

Alison Pill is suffering some major embarrassment after accidentally tweeting a topless photo of herself. It's believed the picture was intended for her fiancé, actor Jay Baruchel, but instead it went out to her 14,000 followers, though she quickly deleted the post. "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies," she tweeted.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly playing sick as a means to get out of being in "Scary Movie 5" after deciding the script makes fun of her too much, insisting that she has walking Pneumonia, according to Page Six. "Lindsay missed every meeting she had for the film, including script reads and wardrobe meetings," a source says. "Then she missed her flight to Atlanta on Sunday to shoot the movie. The producers had been getting signs Friday that she was a mess, and would not be fit to work." But Lohan's rep insists there's nothing fishy going on. "Lindsay is fulfilling all of her obligations for the film," rep Steve Honig says.

A year after coming out of the closet, Zachary Quinto is opening up about his relationship with "Glee" and "Boss" actor Jonathan Groff, telling Out magazine, "I'm incredibly happy, I'm incredibly lucky." Quinto says he's feeling especially good about being in a relationship because of a rough time he had following the death of his father. "I found myself in a pattern of being attracted to people who were somehow unavailable, and what I realized was that I was protecting myself because I equated the idea of connection and love with trauma and death," he explains. "I had to do a lot of work on the couch to really get to a place where I was able to show up to a relationship with someone who was actually capable of being in one — and that took a lot of trial and error."

Mila Kunis got a nasty surprise when she found herself trapped in an elevator with 11 other people recently in New York, according to Page Six. "They were stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and it became very hot in there," a source says. "Mila and everyone else remained calm. There were firetrucks outside, and firefighters helped them get out."

The whole time they were beaming.” Lively also reportedly got a little misty during the ceremony. “A lot of people started to well up, actually,” the source says.

Alison Pill is suffering some major embarrassment after accidentally tweeting a topless photo of herself. It’s believed the picture was intended for her fiancé, actor Jay Baruchel, but instead it went out to her 14,000 followers, though she quickly deleted the post. “Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet… Apologies,” she tweeted.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly playing sick as a means to get out of being in “Scary Movie 5″ after deciding the script makes fun of her too much, insisting that she has walking Pneumonia, according to Page Six. “Lindsay missed every meeting she had for the film, including script reads and wardrobe meetings,” a source says. “Then she missed her flight to Atlanta on Sunday to shoot the movie. The producers had been getting signs Friday that she was a mess, and would not be fit to work.” But Lohan’s rep insists there’s nothing fishy going on. “Lindsay is fulfilling all of her obligations for the film,” rep Steve Honig says.

A year after coming out of the closet, Zachary Quinto is opening up about his relationship with “Glee” and “Boss” actor Jonathan Groff, telling Out magazine, “I’m incredibly happy, I’m incredibly lucky.” Quinto says he’s feeling especially good about being in a relationship because of a rough time he had following the death of his father. “I found myself in a pattern of being attracted to people who were somehow unavailable, and what I realized was that I was protecting myself because I equated the idea of connection and love with trauma and death,” he explains. “I had to do a lot of work on the couch to really get to a place where I was able to show up to a relationship with someone who was actually capable of being in one — and that took a lot of trial and error.”

Mila Kunis got a nasty surprise when she found herself trapped in an elevator with 11 other people recently in New York, according to Page Six. “They were stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and it became very hot in there,” a source says. “Mila and everyone else remained calm. There were firetrucks outside, and firefighters helped them get out.”

Representative Todd Akin's apology for having "misspoken" in an interview where he claimed women were less likely to get pregnant in cases of "legitimate rape" isn't doing much to quiet the Internet firestorm.

"First of all, from what I understand from doctors, that's really rare," Akin said of rape resulting in pregnancy during an interview with KTVI. "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

The Missouri republican hasn't yet named the doctors feeding him this information, but according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 32,000 pregnancies result from rape every year.

Akin later apologized in a statement on his website:

As a member of Congress, I believe that working to protect the most vulnerable in our society is one of my most important responsibilities, and that includes protecting both the unborn and victims of sexual assault. In reviewing my off-the-cuff remarks, it's clear that I misspoke in this interview and it does not reflect the deep empathy I hold for the thousands of women who are raped and abused every year.

But that hasn't stopped the Twitterverse from taking his remarks and running with them. Akin hasn't tweeted since August 14, but if he were to log on now, he'd find he's the of target parodies, jokes, criticism and political analyses.

The question now? Will Akin's comments be enough to lose him the election against Democratic incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill? An August 7 poll showed Atkin leading McCaskill 51 to 40 percent. So now, the Internet waits....

He couldn't stay away for more than a month. Though our favorite tiger blood-filled celeb made a highly publicized exit from Twitter, he's re-joined the social network just in time to promote himself!

Charlie Sheen showed signs of life today on his Twitter account, which has more than 4 million followers, to let everyone know his father will be guest starring this Thursday on his show "Anger Management" — and, of course, we should all tune in.

"It's on! My pop guest stars Thursday on Anger Management. Watch my dad show up as my dad 9:30p on FX. Best yet!!" Sheen tweeted. He attached a photo of himself with his dad, Martin Sheen. The two are yukking it up over a couple of beers.

Sheen hasn't tweeted since July 13 when he told followers, "reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out."

The cryptic message mystified fans who eventually interpreted the tweet as Sheen's resignation from Twitter. The Twittersphere rejoiced at his re-entry today.

"Charlie!!!! We love you here in Greece!!!" one fan tweeted.

"omg your back on! Watched Anger Management yest & was great!!" another said.

But if Sheen wants to keep his reputation as a High Priest Vatican Assassin Warlock, he's going to have to tweet better than this.

In the haircut heard round the world, Miley Cyrus went from medium-length golden tresses to a super-cropped, bleach blonde style reminiscent of Kiefer Sutherland in the "Lost Boys" circa 1987 — and she is making sure everybody knows.

Cyrus, who is recently engaged, has been tweeting about her haircut pretty much non-stop, with plenty of pics for all the world to see. She even live tweeted through the whole thing, posting a photo of a pair of scissors up against her shoulder-length locks.

"Never felt more me in my whole life," she tweeted after the cut was complete. "Most successful Sally day EVER! I feel pretty ohhhh so pretty and gayyy."

As with anything Miley Cyrus does, the new look came with all kinds of controversy, sparking compliments and criticism alike. Did Cyrus let it all go, showing off the new cut and moving on?

No. No, she did not.

She fired back at the haters, making sure the conversation about her hair did not let up for even a minute.

"My dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me 'opinions are are like a------ every body has one' LOVE my hair, feel so happy, pretty, and free," she tweeted. Then, more pics.

Yes, we get it.

At this rate, you'd think it was the first time ever a celebrity got some kind of new hair look. Believe it or not, plenty of celebrities get a complete tress overhaul on a fairly regular basis. They just aren't chronicling every second of it via social media.

#Nolympics: The moment you realize the event that only comes once every four years is over — and now you have no idea what you're going to watch on TV. Your days will no longer be filled with Gabby Douglas memes, shirtless Ryan Lochte photos or YouTube videos of Usain Bolt. No, your days will now be filled with regular life stuff.

Following the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Internet is suffering a withdrawal known as "Post Olympic Depression." Thousands of Olympic fans are mourning the end of the games and taking to Twitter to share their melancholy. The hashtag "#Nolympics" started trending as the harsh realization set in that the Olympics have come to a close, and we won't see them again for another four years.

Within that #Nolympics sadness, though, lies anger with NBC, once again, as the network continued its pattern of cutting chunks from the major televised Olympic ceremonies. First, the opening ceremony, and last night, the closing ceremony.

Viewers, who were already frustrated with NBC over its tape-delayed coverage throughout the Games, reached a boiling point with the network after it cut performances from Ray Davies, Kate Bush, The Who and Muse, which produced and performed the official song of the Olympics. Why would NBC do such a thing? In order to air a commercial-free episode of its new fall comedy "Animal Practice." The performance by The Who didn't air until after that.

"So the OFFICIAL song of the Olympics was never played once during the opening or closing ceremony on #NBC? This is ridiculous," one Twitter user said.

"I love it. The #NBC fail continues up to literally the last possible hour of the Olympics. Well done, sirs," another user ranted.

Between the fury over NBC's choppy coverage and the post-Olympic blues, it's shaping up to be a rough Monday. Buck up, kids — after all, the Paralympics begin on Aug. 29!

In order to air a commercial-free episode of its new fall comedy “Animal Practice.” The performance by The Who didn’t air until after that.

“So the OFFICIAL song of the Olympics was never played once during the opening or closing ceremony on #NBC? This is ridiculous,” one Twitter user said.

“I love it. The #NBC fail continues up to literally the last possible hour of the Olympics. Well done, sirs,” another user ranted.

Between the fury over NBC’s choppy coverage and the post-Olympic blues, it’s shaping up to be a rough Monday. Buck up, kids — after all, the Paralympics begin on Aug. 29!

As news broke of the NCAA's massive penalties against Penn State this morning, fans, critics and even players took to Twitter to voice their opinions.

In addition to a $60 million dollar fine, Penn State was also banned from postseason and bowl games for four years and forced to vacate its victories from 1998 through 2011.

The harsh punishment comes it the wake of former FBI director Louis Freeh's report that found the college and its legendary football coach, the late Joe Paterno, played a role in covering up former coach Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of children.

Current Penn State football players will be able to transfer without penalty if they choose.

The college was not slapped with the so-called "death penalty," which would have eliminated an entire season or more for the program.

As word spread of the sanctions inflicted by the NCAA, the internet experienced mixed reaction from those who believe current players should not be punished for the past, and others who say the punishment in not harsh enough.

Here's a roundup of reaction from students, alumni, players and critics.

After news broke of the tragic shooting that claimed at least 12 lives in a Colorado movie theater, another chilling element about the incident emerged as the victims were identified.

One of the victims of the gunman who opened fire into the crowd of people watching a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises," was Jessica Ghawi, a young sports journalist who had narrowly escaped a similar mass shooting at Toronto's Eaton Centre in June.

Ghawi (who goes by Jessica Redfield online) wrote on her blog June 5 about the experience of cheating death, describing her sudden urge to get fresh air before a gunman opened fire in the exact area where she had been just moments before.

Her Twitter account shows a back and forth with a follower yesterday about her plans to see the newest Batman film. The final tweet she sent before she was killed last night at the Aurora, C.O. theater said, "THE MOVIE DOESN'T START FOR 20 MINUTES."

The Colorado shooter, dressed in black and a gas mask, threw a can of tear gas into the theater about 20 minutes after the film started. He then sprayed the crowd with bullets, killing Ghawi and at least 11 others and injuring dozens of people.

Ghawi had shared in her blog after the Eaton shooting that she discovered a new-found appreciation for life:

I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given.

The suspect in last night's shooting, 24-year-old James Holmes, was arrested by police who found
him standing near his car after crowds of people fled from the theater.

Sonja Abrahamsson has been making headlines since she was selected to control Sweden's official Twitter account, @sweden, for the week.

She first stirred things up after tweeting a string of controversial remarks about Jews. This morning, she educated the world about a phenomenon called "breastfolding" and said she sometimes wishes she had Down syndrome.

Her comments have caused a worldwide backlash as many critics wonder how a woman so prone to offensive remarks could be at the helm of a country's official Twitter account, free to say whatever comes to mind.

Turns out, it looks like that's exactly what Swedish officials were hoping for. And while her remarks have shocked and outraged many people around the world, they were no surprise to the people in charge of selecting her for this social experiment.

"The number is increasing by about a thousand an hour right now," Maria Ziv, marketing director of Visit Sweden told Metro Wednesday.

She said they were very aware blogger and columnist Abrahamsson can sometimes be controversial. Without defending the tweets, Ziv said there’s no reason to stop Abrahamsson as she didn’t cross the line of what’s acceptable. Unless the 27-year-old makes the decision to abandon ship, she will continue as an ambassador for Sweden until Sunday. She didn’t break the rules, as the tweets were not criminal. And the tweets will definitely not be censored.

"We haven’t spoken to her, as that could be seen as censorship. She is free to call us if she wants to, but we won’t call her," Ziv said.

"It is important we give people an image of the real Sweden – a country where you are free to express your opinion even though some might find it inappropriate," Ziv said, admitting she has been on the phone all day speaking to journalists from all over the world.

When asked whether Abrahamsson's tweets have tainted or boosted the image of Sweden, Ziv said: "As a whole, it has strengthened the image of Sweden as an open and democratic society. We’re talking about four tweets of an accumulated 20,000 that have been taken out of context. The discussion that followed has highlighted this openness."

Metro has unsuccessfully tried to reach Abrahamsson for a comment.

Previously, another person in charge of @sweden proved the openness of Swedes by stating masturbating as one of his hobbies.

The woman at the helm of Sweden's official Twitter account for the week continues to fascinate us with her mystifying tweets. Her latest obsession? The puzzling phenomenon of "breastfolding."

Sonja Abrahamsson, the 27-year-old mother of two who was chosen by the country to tweet for a week as part of a social experiment, captured the attention of the world when she used her platform to tweet all of her questions about Jews, (specifically what makes Jews different and how one can identify a Jew). Social experiments!

Entranced by her broken English and stunning lack of self-awareness, we kept watch over her Twitter activity, desperate for more shockingly naive comments and random musings by a woman who claims she doesn't spend much time thinking about the future but is "excited to know if we all die the 21st of December."

And again today, Sonja struck gold — this time in the form of "breastfolding." What is breastfolding? Great question, and one we shared after Sonja sent out a mysterious tweet describing a video she made that went viral because of her "great ability." Then Sonja did us all a favor and tweeted a link to the much-anticipated breastfolding video.

What we witnessed was ....baffling.

After some strange shots of her fooling around with a banana, Sonja speaks in Swedish for a couple minutes before taking her breast in her hand, using her other hand to press the top of it, and lifting it up. We recognize two very distinct words in English: "Press" and "fold." She ends the video by pulling — yes, pulling — on her breast.

Full disclosure: We don't speak Swedish, so if there is any real point to this so-called party trick, maybe we missed it. But Sonja's passion for her hobby is enough to hold our interest.

The breastfolding didn't stop there — Sonja proceeded to tweet mesmerizing comments about everything from once hearing Justin Bieber scream "baby," to sometimes wishing she had Down syndrome, to declaring "Happy Feet" the worst movie ever (on behalf of everyone in Sweden).

Even more fascinating is that Sweden continues to stand by Sonja's freedom of expression, and has no plans to bring her Twitter curatorship to an early end.

"Some of them have been talking about music, some of them have been talking about food," Tommy Sollén, Social Media Manager at VisitSweden, told the Wall Street Journal about the guest curators. "Sonja is more focused on her own brand of humor and asking probing questions."
