University of Pennsylvania professor Adam Grant was profiled and featured on the cover of The New York Times Magazine for his research into employee efficiency and productivity.

In Susan Dominus's piece for the Sunday magazine, the 31-year-old Wharton professor is described as "the youngest-tenured and highest-rated professor at Wharton."

Grant acts as an advisor to companies who hope to squeeze every ounce of energy and hard work from their employees. Google calls Grant often to help solve problems, according to the story.

"He is also one of the most prolific academics in his field, organizational psychology, the study of workplace dynamics," Dominus wrote. "Grant took three years to get his Ph.D., and in the seven years since, he has published more papers in his field’s top-tier journals than colleagues who have won lifetime-achievement awards."
