Have you ever bumped into a light post? Tripped on a trash can? Stumbled upon an old friend, literally? If so, you may have a texting-while-walking problem.

Filmmaker Casey Neistadt explores these issues and more in a hilarious documentary for the New York Times, "Texting While Walking: A Dangerous Game." In it, Neistadt gives a series of scientific illustrations demonstrating exactly how harmful (not to mention annoying!) walking and texting can be.

"Let’s stop acting like hollowed-out zombies, with BlackBerrys and iPhones replacing eye contact, handshakes and face-to-face conversations," Neistadt writes in the accompanying article. "It’s time to live once again in the present and simply be where we are."

Watch the video below and tell us: Do you have a texting-while-walking problem? Share your stories! (We'll start. Today we were walking up Pine Street trying to think of whether to write "Haha" or "Hahaha," when we nearly ran into a gigantic suit-clad man. "Whoa, that was close," we thought as we swerved around him. Then we returned to our text message and almost instantaneous ran into another person. We are so dumb.)
