Score outlet bargains at Woodbury Common

Saks Fifth Avenue’s OFF 5TH at Woodbury reopened this month after a redesign. The new space is home to a Rag & Bone shop — the brand’s first foray into the outlet world.

Some people get out of the city for fresh air, nature and other wholesome-sounding things. Us? We’re in it for the shopping. This spring, head to Woodbury Common for discounts on major name brands. And these aren’t just last season’s duds. “Each designer runs their own outlet stores, and each does a terrific job providing significant value — whether the store is selling current-season excess inventory, items from prior seasons or special, outlet-exclusive merchandise,” says Michele Rothstein, senior VP of marketing for the outlets.

Transportation
Busses such as Hampton Luxury Liner (www.hamptonluxuryliner.com) and ShortLine/Coach USA (www.coachusa.com) leave hourly from Port Authority  to the shopping center.

Know before you shop
This weekend is the Memorial Day Weekend Sale; from Friday to Monday, enjoy extra discounts.

Woodbury Common Premium Outlets has 220 stores with exclusive stores such as Oscar de la Renta, Anne Fountaine, Versace, Balenciaga and Chloe.
