Best and Worst of the red carpet at the 2011 Emmy Awards

Heidi Klum attends the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards on September 18, 2011 in Los Angeles, United States.

We already took in the scene at the Emmy awards red carpet, but now it’s time for some commentary! Who wore it best and who wore it worst? Metro’s Tiny Chadha passes judgment:

Kate Winslet, we know you thanked your mom and moms in general after your big win for “Mildred Pierce” but did you want to look like a one, too? Despite it’s plunging neck line and your hot curves, this Elie Saab dress seemed way to boring for you.

Heidi Klum, props for wearing a dress by “Project Runway” alum, Christian Siriano but it looks like you have on sea algae.

Why is anyone talking about Lea Michele‘s red gown when newcomer Nina Dobrev showed up looking like this?

Kirsten Wigg, Heather Morris and Julie Bowen look gorgeous in their sexy but elegant gowns featuring plunging necklines.

Claire Danes, whoever let you walk out of the house in that blue sequined dress is not your friend.

Speaking of blue dresses that didn’t work: Really, Diane Agron? Aren’t you in your 20s? Please take a page from Helen Mirren’s red carpet handbook before the next event. Also, Kate Winslet’s mom wants her dress back. Katie Holmes, use the force for good, not boring dresses. We don’t believe this look is Suri- approved.

The hair, dress, nails, jewelry  — everything about Julia Stiles’ look is perfect.
