Rex Ryan in car accident in Pa. last week

Apparently the Jets season literally ended in a car wreck.
Deadspin reports that head coach Rex Ryan was in a three-car accident on Jan. 14 in Bethlehem, Pa. in which he crashed his red Mustang.
According to the police report acquired by Metro New York, Ryan admitted he ran a red light, and rear-ended one of the other cars involved in the pileup. He denied he was speeding.
The report detailed the accident as having “occurred at 6:13 p.m. when the driver of a Ford Mustang, identified by police as Rex Ryan of New Jersey, traveling west on West Third Street collided with another vehicle which was proceeding through a traffic light on Wyandotte Street/Route 378.”
There were no injuries in the accident.
Per the official police report, the department is still investigating the incident and “awaiting a return call from another witness before completing the investigation.”
Ryan may have been in Pennsylvania in order to speak to former Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, who has reportedly been hired as the replacement in the same position for the fired Tony Sparano.
