Katherine Webb is a bona fide star, Caron Butler’s block nearly kills a ref

Katherine Webb is here to stay, America. What a monster that Brent Musburger is, huh?
Isaac Brekken

The sex tape era may have come to a close. I mean, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian’s road to fame might as well have been paved in tapioca pudding it’s so old school at this point.

The new way to gain instant fame, of course, is to have Brent Musburger talk about how hot you are as this week it was learned that Katherine Webb, who Musburger ogled back on Jan. 7, is strongly considering being a participant on “Dancing with the Stars” and is already set to star in the ABC reality series, “Celebrity Diving.”

Not that those two shows will be raking in Emmy Awards anytime soon, but considering Webb was as anonymous as a former Miss Alabama can be a month ago, this is pretty impressive. She will also be covering the Super Bowl for Inside Edition next week and will be in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

In the words of Musburger, “Woah!”

And for the record, it was Musburger who had to apologize to Webb. Where are we living again?

Everyone laugh at the injured ref

Caron Butler is the man. Yes, ref abuse is frowned upon these days, but you have to make an exception for the pure humor seen here from last night’s Thunder-Clippers tilt:
