Now trending: Juice bars

Liquiteria’s East Village location is already a big hit.

With new juice bars popping up on every city corner, it’s becoming easier to drink healthy. Here are the latest juice havens ideal for grabbing a cold, nourishing treat:

Juice Press

If you’re looking to cleanse you might not have to stray too far – Juice Press is opening its 10th New York City location at 1296 Madison Ave. The hardcore juice fans will be right at home as Juice Press offers a wide variety of drinkable organic produce, ranging from superfood smoothies like the Chocolate Raspberry Kiss to entire meals like the Sweet Potato Pie. Juice Press uses 100 percent organic produce in its juice cleansing programs, and you better come thirsty: The programs include a six-juice-per-day cleanse  ($60).

Molyvos Mediterranean Juice Bar

Molyvos (871 Seventh Ave., 212-582-7500), a restaurant known for it’s neo-Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, is introducing a Mediterranean juice bar for its Sunday brunch menu. Using seasonal organic produce from Blooming Hill Farm, Chef Jim Botsacos has added a heart healthy mix of fresh juices like the Beet and Carrot juice and the Fennel Orange to his traditional weekend offerings. The 12 oz. fresh pressed juices are $8 during brunch, which is served Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

A new Liquiteria juice spot is opening later this month in Chelsea at 102 Eighth Ave. All the same smoothies and cleanse products made popular at its original location (170 Second Ave., 212-358-0300) will be available at the Chelsea Liquiteria, in addtion to its revamped Grab-N-Go food menu. Some of the highlights: an Asian quinoa noodle salad, coconut yogurt with muesli and chopped almonds and chia pudding. Can’t get enough Liquiteria? A third location is set to open in Union Square this September.
