The seven best celebrity dads

Every celebrity nowadays seems to be joining the ranks of parenthood, but how do they manage the burdens of both fame and family? In celebration of Father’s Day, here are the celebrity dads we think are killing the parenting game.

Victoria must be relieved. According to Hello Magazine, recently-retired soccer superstar David Beckham purportedly “loves being a stay-at-home dad” for their four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, along with only daughter Harper. Apparently, David relishes being his kids’ 24-hour chef and chauffeur, leaving wife Victoria to manage her million-dollar fashion empire.

According to Good Housekeeping, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness were ecstatic to adopt both of their children,13-year-old Oscar Maximillian and 8-year-old Ava Elliot, in 2000 and 2005 respectively. Despite his constant traveling to keep up his acting career, Jackman manages to maintain his family as his utmost priority, skyping on location and heading to the park with the kids in his downtime, even catching taxis for them on the way home from school.

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck claims that he works best with a “balance” between family and career in his life, and he seems to be a man of his word. The actor attended his then-seven-year-old daughter Violet’s spelling bee on the same Sunday he won the best picture Academy Award for his film Argo. Let’s not forget that both daddy and daughter took home the prize – some things just run in the family.

The host of the “Tonight Show,” with wife Nancy Fallon struggled with fertility treatments until finally succeeding with a surrogate in the birth of their daughter, Winnie Rose, as he detailed to People magazine. Since then, it’s been nothing but adorable baby Instagram posts and gushing about making the “cutest outfits” for Jimmy’s daughter.

Will Smith

Who’s more trustworthy than mom? According to Jada-Pinkett Smith, Will Smith is “the best father in the world,” says Essence. Apparently, Will goes above and beyond when supporting his kids emotionally, and it seems to be paying off, with both Willow and Jaden’s respective rises in the Hollywood scene.

Brad Pitt

As half of Hollywood’s most infamous superparent couple, nobody would blame him if Brad Pitt occasionally left the six Pitt-Jolie kids at home once in a while. However, five of them made it to the red-carpet premiere of “Maleficent” to support mom Angelina Jolie, along with Pax, Zahara and Vivienne, all of whom played supporting roles.

Kanye West

You might think that he’s too busy proclaiming he’s a god to care much about anybody else, but the truth is, Kanye is a family man. Now-wife Kim Kardashian claims that he can’t bear to be away from daughter North for even a day, while mother-in-law Kris Jenner calls the rapper “the best dad in the world.” And it must be nice to have your first Vogue spread at the tender age of just nine months.
