Anderson Cooper wants to know what your baby is thinking
Ever look at your kid sleeping soundly and wonder what the heck he or she is dreaming about? Milk? Elmo? Reminiscing about those days in the womb? Well, Anderson Cooper is on a quest to find out what babies are thinking — awake and asleep.
His new three-part series, “Baby Brains: What Are They Really Thinking?” will explore that topic with experts — and Cooper will do a little baby studying himself at the Infant Cognition Center at Yale University.
He’s also attempting to get to the root of big moral questions, such as whether people are born knowing right from wrong. One of the experts Cooper talks to, Paul Bloom, author of “Just Babies,” argues that people are born either good or evil. He makes the case for biological evolution and that babies can judge good from bad, based on research he did at Yale. Sound crazy? Watch his segment on the show here and tune in tonight and tomorrow for more perhaps surprising opinions.
The series airs Feb. 12-14 at 8 p.m. on CNN.
