Dolce & Gabbana convicted of tax fraud in Italy
Can we expect to see some orange jumpsuit-inspired looks in Dolce & Gabbana’s next collection? Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were sentenced to a suspended 18-month prison term for tax evasion.
The fashion designers owe hundreds of millions of euros to the Italian government.
Shocked? So is their lawyer, who is still insisting the duo is innocent. “I am speechless,” their lawyer Massimo Dinoia said, according to Yahoo! News. “We are all shocked. The judgement is inexplicable and we will appeal.”
