Find a friend: Adopt a Pet

Visit the ASPCA to adopt Basha.

Basha is a one-and-a-half-year-old domestic shorthair mix who is waiting for her perfect playmate.

She is a typical “teenager” kitty, full of energy, loves to play and has a bit of a mischievous side. Her family will need to set aside lots of time for interactive play — her favorite toys are ones on strings that she can chase and pounce on.

If this gal doesn’t feel like she’s getting enough enrichment, she’ll look for things to amuse herself, which could include your hands and feet! Her future family should always play with her while using toys, and not let her play rough with fingers or toes.

Like a human teenager, all she wants is a little discipline and reassurance to help her learn the right way to  behave. She gets nervous when her feet are off the ground, but once she bonds with her family she can learn to trust that she’s safe while being held.

Don’t pass this pretty girl by, how could you ignore those expressive eyebrows?

Bring her home!

Basha is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. We also include a
microchip and free follow-up vet exam. So stop by the ASPCA Adoption
Center and take your new best friend home today.
