Foley’s New York Pub and Restaurant has shown its support for the Giants in this years Super Bowl by banning anything produced by Boston brewery Sam Adams during the game on Sunday.  The pub’s owner said he wanted customers to drink beers made by Brooklyn Brewery instead, according to boston.com.

Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch said, “I know Foley’s, and it’s a great bar. I hope they remember… if it weren’t for the original New England patriot, Samuel Adams… we might be watching cricket and drinking tea instead of watching the Super Bowl.” That Samuel Adam’s beer must have left a sour taste in his mouth.
