Hey, nice cans!

“CAN Mario 1-UP Hunger?” by Severud Associates Consulting Engineers uses 3,600 cans.
Working until 4 a.m. Thursday, 25 teams of architects and engineers sculpted 100,000 cans into eye-catching creations for the “Canstruction” exhibit and design competition at the World Financial Center.
Participants are judged not only on creativity, but also how well the cans’ contents would go together to create a healthy meal.
Framed for the Thanksgiving season, the 11-day exhibit will donate all cans to City Harvest when it comes down Nov. 22.
