Queens man, 67, dies after being hit by car

A 67-year-old man died after he was hit by a car last night in Queens, cops said.
According to police, last night around 9 p.m., a man was crossing from a traffic island on Woodhaven Boulevard to the west side of the street, near Jamaica Avenue.
He stepped into the street and was hit by a 2002 Honda Accord, cops said.
Police arrived and found the man in the street with trauma to his head and face.
They took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car, 58, stayed on the scene, and police said they do not suspect criminality.
