SEPTA hires new chief engineer

Septa Chief EngineerSEPTA announced today it has hired a new chief engineer.

Andrew Gillespie, of Doylestown, will oversee the SEPTA’S Power, Track, Bridges & Building and C& S Departments.

Gillespie has a total of 16 years of experience in the public transportation industry, according to a news release. Gillespie has worked at the transit authority for six years.
