Family of four arrested in N.J. pot, crack cocaine bust

Police in Vineland, N.J., arrested an entire family on Friday in a drug bust that netted more than a quarter pound of pot and an ounce of crack cocaine, according to investigators.

Vineland police officers and agents with the New Jersey State Police executed a search warrant on the 500 block of Grape Street.

They said inside the house were drugs with an estimated street value of $2,000, including marijuana, crack and an undisclosed quantity of hydrocodone pills — often sold under the brand name Vicodin — along with $1,800 in cash and various drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Luis Figueroa Jr., 23, his brother Anthony Figueroa, 22, their father Luis Figueroa Sr., 52, and his wife Eva Figueroa, 44.

They are charged with narcotics possession with the intent to distribute, possession of controlled substances in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eva Figueroa was released on her own recognizance, while the other three suspects are being held at the Cumberland County Jail in lieu of $150,000 full cash bail.
