Wintry mix hits Philadelphia region
Forecasters are calling for a wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow in the Philadelphia region on Monday.
Less than an inch of accumulation is expected from the storm, which should leave slush on the ground for the evening commute just two days before the first day of spring.
The precipitation is expected after noon and into the evening.
The National Weather Service was calling for a combination of rain, sleet and snow before 4 p.m., at which point forecasters expect the rain to stop and the precipitation to shift to snow and sleet. Rain should return to the wintry mix after 5 p.m.
The high for today is expected to be 41 degrees.
