FBI: Man tried to rob two Northeast Philadelphia banks in 35 minutes

Police and the FBI are looking for a man who within 35 minutes Wednesday successfully robbed one bank and attempted to rob a second.
Investigators said the suspect entered the Citizens Bank branch at 7327 Frankford Avenue in Mayfair shortly before 10:45 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note.
He fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
The same suspect is believed to also be responsible for the attempted robbery 35 minutes earlier of another bank in Lawncrest.
The man entered the Bank of America branch at 6425 Rising Sun Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note. He left empty-handed, fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall white male in his early to late 30s with a medium build, brown hair and a goatee.
He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark gray North Face jacket and a gray Phillies baseball cap.
There may be a reward for information leading to the man’s capture.
