Philadelphia police ID 2 killed in weekend shootings
Philadelphia police have identified two people shot and killed in homicides in North Philadelphia over the weekend.
The first fatal weekend shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the 700 block of West Venango Street, where police say Tyrone Rosser, 36, of the 400 block of Franklin Street, died from a gunshot wound to his head.
A second man was shot in his left foot in the gunfire that killed Rosser. He was treated and released from Temple University Hospital, police said.
No arrests have been made in the West Venango Street incident.
Police say a 30-year-old woman was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head on the 3200 block of Bailey Street on Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as Malisha Jessie, of the 1700 block of Mount Vernon Street.
