Funeral services set for slain South Philly fruit vendor Don Ly
Funeral services have been set for Don Ly, a South Philadelphia fruit vendor who was stabbed to death early Thursday morning outside his home on the 400 block of Vollmer Street.
Ly’s son Hoanh Ly in a statement emailed Sunday thanked the public and community for “united concerns, support and in hoping that justice will prevail.”
He said Don Ly’s funeral services will be held Friday April 26 through Saturday April 27 at the Preah Buddha Rangsey Temple located at 2400 S. 6th Street in Philadelphia.
A viewing will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, followed by a 7 p.m. service.
The funeral mass will commence at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
