Spirit Airlines to give away 1,000 free flights after rocky launch
The first 1,000 people to pass through the Independence Visitor Center on Thursday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will get 25,000 free frequent flyer miles from Spirit Airlines.
Spirit Airlines inaugural Philadelphia flight scheduled to launch on April 4 was delayed. Passengers instead landed in Atlantic City.
Passengers would still be required to pay taxes and fees associated with any flight.
