Man poses as postal worker, attempts home invasion
Pretending to be a postal worker, a man invaded a Northeast Philadelphia home Tuesday morning, police said.
The man knocked on the door of the home, on the 2800 block of Saxton Road, around 9 a.m. As a man opened the door, the fake letter carrier pulled a gun.
After an altercation, the poser fled empty handed.
The victim suffered head lacerations, police said.
The fake postal worker is still on the loose.
