VIDEO: Police seek men in violent assault on SEPTA bus in Logan

Philadelphia police have released violent surveillance video of a brutal attack early Tuesday morning aboard a SEPTA bus in Logan.

Police said three men shortly after 12:30 a.m. followed the victim, 25, onto the bus as it pulled up to the 4800 block of North Broad Street.

They can be seen on camera approaching the man toward the rear of the vehicle, where police said they engaged him in a brief conversation before beginning to punch him.

All three men allegedly continued to kick and stomp on the victim after he fell to the floor.

One suspect can even be seen on video taking off his sneaker and using it to beat the man as he lay in the aisle.

The assailants fled through the bus’ rear center doors after the attack. Police said they were last seen running north on Broad Street toward Wyoming Avenue.

The victim suffered injuries to his eyes, face and arm, according to authorities.

The suspects are described as three black males in their late teens to early 20s.

One man has a medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and black or blue and white New Balance sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a white tank top, dark shorts and white-and-black PUMA sneakers.

The third man is described as having a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a yellow polo shirt with blue stripes, dark jeans and white sneakers.
