Three teens were shot in Nicetown Friday night, reportedly after leaving a party in the area.

Officers were at 11:45 p.m. called to the 4000 block of Germantown Avenue, where they said they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the back.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police said they were soon notified of a second victim located on the 1800 block of Pulaski Avenue, about a mile and a half away.

That male, 15, was shot in the leg.

He was also taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Officers shortly after 3 a.m. received a radio call reporting a third shooting victim, who was receiving treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

There, they found a boy, 15, who had been grazed in both calves during the same incident.

The teens told detectives they were hanging out at the BP gas station at Germantown and Hunting Park avenues when an unknown man opened fire on them.

They said they then fled the scene on foot.

The investigation into the crime was still ongoing Sunday.

Investigators described the suspected gunman as a 5-foot-7-inch to 5-foot-8-inch tall black male between the ages of 16 and 17.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.

No arrests have yet been made.
