Royal baby’s astrological birth chart reveals personality, life goals

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, gave birth to a son Monday evening.

Other astrologers might be in the business of making the royal baby’s chart seem perfect, dynamic and amazing, as if he will have no personality faults in the least. Well, Xandra don’t play that game! It’s important that we see this baby for what he is: a real human soul with strengths and weaknesses.

Following in the vein of stiff upper lips, receding hairlines and britches that certainly don’t need extra stiffening, based on what I see in his birth chart, this kid is not in trouble of becoming the next Russell Brand. He is mostly a tea and crumpets kind of guy.

Don’t get me wrong. He is a smart and compassionate person who will bring enormous benefits to British charities and society — but don’t expect him to be the second coming of Uncle Harry, with benders in Vegas and scandalous party costumes. He’s much more restrained and private with his Moon in Capricorn and Sun in Cancer.

A generous and inspiring philanthropist

The royal baby’s birth chart has two trine configurations between multiple planets that give him an easy and effortless luck in the areas of public service, money and reform. He will find that he has a strong talent for public speaking, teaching the public about social issues and inspiring action and empathy. His chosen work will most likely be continuing the philanthropic organizations of his grandparents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana: the Prince’s Trust and Prince’s Charities. His second and eighth houses are full of planets, so a lot of his energy will go toward financial stewardship and management. He can turn £100,000 in to £500,000 with the snap of a finger.

The royal baby will be a curious and quick-learning student of life with a great philosophical bent. He will love to read and write and will excel as a student. However, he will be ill suited to traditional school environments, where he cannot freely pursue courses of study motivated by his own interests. We can assume, based on his birth chart’s planetary aspects to Venus in the Ninth house, that he will lead the campaign in Britain to make school a more passion-inspired experience rather than a rote, dull, test-driven one.

Royal Baby: Latchkey syndrome?

Now let’s look more closely at his Sun and Moon in his chart, which represent the roles of his father and mother in his life. According to his chart, Dad and Mum are actually a bit removed from being strong influences on his character besides serving as reminders of his duties as a royal. It looks like Dad is away from home a lot running the family business on a global level, while Mum is preoccupied with material concerns of the royal households (they have bits and bobs of real estate all over the U.K.)

Since this is the birth chart of a member of the royal family, we can assume the cosmic imprint of “aloof” parenting does not mean his parents do not fully and completely love him. The issue is that he will be raised by so many others beyond just his parents (governesses and royal staff and the like) that he will feel a bit lost in his personal identity because he is forbidden to be “himself” since he is a royal, and Mum and Dad can’t be themselves either so they cannot lend much of a hand on his journey of self-discovery. As a result, the royal baby is not going to be a strong personality, but rather he will be known for his efforts to improve society.

Look out ladies. He’s fit, and he’s posh!

The royal baby’s Venus is mostly well-aspected, indicating that he will be warm and affectionate in relationships and will have a love of great art, literature and travel. With Scorpio rising and a well-aspected Mars, he has a strong physical vitality and a love of sport and games. He will also be a right looker with Venus semi-sextile to his Sun!

But he’s not a playboy-type. He will be very much devoted to one woman for most of his life, probably taking up with her quite early on. Like Daddy Wills, he will most likely find a schoolgirl crush turns in to a strong and enduring marriage.

Granny Diana is a strong influence on his path in life

To wrap it all up, the royal baby is going to be living a very active and constructive life that is mostly devoted to using the monarchy’s power to promote more goodness in society. If he becomes king (which could be 60-70 years from now), Xandra’s guess is that the monarchy will be less about amassing wealth and more about distributing it. The royal baby will find himself inspired by the battles fought by his grandmother to make the monarchy more of a benevolent institution watching over the country rather than a grumpy old fusspot drinking its Harrod’s tea by the fireside. His grandmother Diana was the “People’s Princess,” and he will be the “People’s King,” serving Britain rather than its citizens serving the monarchy. He will go about this in a prudent, balanced and rational way so as not to upset the older generations.
