Three hurt in Kensington drive-by shooting
Three people were injured in a drive-by shooting in Kensington early this morning.
Two victims, including a 13-year-old boy, were taken by police to Temple University Hospital for treatment. Two men, ages 19 and 25, sustained single gunshot wounds to the lower parts of their legs, while the boy was shot in his right hip.
One of the men was transported by private vehicle to Episcopal Hospital, police said.
A green conversion van with tinted windows was involved in the shooting, according to police.
Police patrolling the area heard approximately 10 gunshots, prompting them to respond to Lee and Cambria streets.
Philadelphia police were to review surveillance cameras in the area to help identify suspects.
