Three dead after gunman opens fire at Monroe County meeting
Three people have been confirmed dead in a shooting during a Ross Township municipal meeting in Pennsylvania’s Monroe County, according to several news reports.
A reporter with the Pocono Record, who was at the meeting this evening, said the alleged gunmen shot through a wall into the meeting.
The Record is reporting two men died at the scene and a third who was being transported by helicopter later died. Other reports say there were other injuries.
The shooter was allegedly conscious and taken out on a stretcher.
Ross Township is about 90 miles north of Philadelphia.
