A Department of Corrections officer is charged with rape, criminal use of a firearm, assault and unlawful imprisonment after a domestic assault last night, cops said.

Officer Eddie Colon, 49, was arrested last night at 2:11 a.m., police reported.

Cops said the victim is a 31-year-old woman he is related to by marriage.

Police said Colon and the victim were arguing when Colon threw a mattress onto the floor and then pushed the victim down onto it. He yanked off her clothes as she tried to push him away and clearly said “stop,” cops said.

When she resisted, he reportedly held a loaded gun to her head and said, “I’m not playing.” Police said he covered her mouth so she couldn’t call for help as he raped her.

Cops said after Colon “was finished” raping the woman, she tried to escape the apartment. Colon reportedly dragged her away from the door and punched her several times in her stomach and ribs, badly hurting her ribcage.

Colon is facing additional charges of menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

Colon is a Corrections officer at the psychiatric ward at Bellevue Hospital. He was off-duty at the time of the alleged attack, which took place at an apartment in Brownsville around 1 a.m. last night, police reported. The NYPD was notified around 1:45 a.m.
