Actress Lisa Robin Kelly, best known for her role as Laurie Forman, the floozy sister of Eric Forman on “That ‘70s Show,” has died at age 43.

Kelly, who checked herself into rehab this past week for alcohol abuse, passed away in her sleep Wednesday night at the California facility after going into cardiac arrest.

“She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle,” her agent told TMZ.com.

Kelly’s ongoing struggle with substance abuse led to her character being replaced during season six of the show with actress Christina Moore.

“I was guilty of the drinking problem,” Kelly told ABC in an interview after three months of being sober, “and I ran.”

However, after several run-ins with the law, including four arrests in the past three years, a DUI and spousal abuse, Kelly told ABC that she is “not running from this.”

“I have paid my dues, and if I can make it through this, I can make it through anything,” cried Kelly during the interview.

Unfortunately, the actress who was seeking a sober comeback, met her fate after falling victim to alcohol- related problems that kick started again after suffering from domestic abuse from her estranged husband, Robert Gilliam that landed him in jail for 35 days.
