Two men stabbed a cab driver 11 times early Monday morning during a brutal robbery in Queen Village that netted the thieves just $205, according to police.

Investigators said the 37-year-old driver shortly before 1:15 a.m. pulled his taxi over on the 900 block of South Front Street, near Christian Street, to let two men out of the vehicle.

Both men exited and one of them stood next to the driver’s window of the cab, appearing to be getting money out of his wallet.

But police said the second man then approached the window with a knife and began stabbing the cabbie as he sat in the driver’s seat of the taxi.

The first man allegedly pulled out a knife and also began stabbing the driver.

Police said the victim was able to grab the knife from the first suspect and turn it on his assailant.

That’s when the second man stabbed the cab driver in the head, according to authorities.

The men fled west in an unknown direction, making away with $205 in cash.

Police said the cabbie drove to Front and South streets, where he flagged down a police officer and was taken to Jefferson University Hospital.

He had been stabbed 11 times in his head, arm, chest, hand and the front of his neck but was hospitalized in stable condition due to the superficial nature of the wounds, according to investigators.

Police said the second suspect, a 21-year-old man, was arrested near 4th and Federal streets. His identity will not be released until Tuesday.

Investigators said they know the identity of the first suspect but have not yet taken him into custody.
