VIDEO: Police seek couple suspected of Ikea credit card theft

Police are looking for a man and a woman who allegedly stole credit cards Saturday from a car parked outside the South Philadelphia Ikea.

Investigators said the victim was inside the Ikea furniture store, located at 2200 S. Columbus Blvd., when someone broke into her vehicle around noon.

The suspects allegedly took the victim’s pocketbook containing various items, including her credit cards.

Police said the duo then went on a shopping spree, using the stolen credit cards at various locations.

Both suspects were captured on camera pulling up to a convenience store on a motorcycle, then making a purchase using the stolen cards.

One suspect is described as a heavy white female between the ages of 30 and 40 with brown hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue pants and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40 with close-cropped brown hair and a light goatee. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt with “SHOW TIME” written in white on the front, tan pants and white and black sneakers.
