Three men turned themselves in at Transit Police headquarters today in connection with an attack on a father and daughter on the MBTA Blue Line last month.
According to police, on the evening of Sept. 18, the victim and his 14-year-old daughter were riding a Blue Line train near the Airport stop when one of the suspects allegedly spilled beer on the father, causing an argument.“A male victim was assaulted and punched in the head multiple times by 4 unknown white males. The victim’s 14 year old daughter was also punched in the thigh by the same four (4) unknown male subjects. The four (4) unknown male subjects fled Airport MBTA Station after the assault and battery,” the Transit Police posted on their website.
The victims, who were accompanied by the girl’s mother, were returning home from a sporting event.
The men are being questioned by investigators. A fourth man has been identified. No charges have been filed in the case yet, according to Transit Police.
