A campus police officer at Curry College was fired from his job after getting arrested for breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and threatening her with multiple weapons.

According to Wicked Local Marshfield, 26-year-old Paul Kodzis allegedly entered his ex-girlfriend’s Marshfield home, and woke her up by standing over her holding a gun and a baton, while screaming.

Luckily, the woman was able to alert her roommates to what was happening.

“She began to scream because she was in fear for her life, and she ran into the next room, the room of the victim’s roommates, to inform them that a person she knew was in the house and he had a gun,” Police Lt. Taber told Wicked Local.“After they recovered the gun, he started screaming again and said, ‘you’re not going to call the police’”.

The group separated Kodzis from his weapons, and managed to call his parents. They came and “picked him up and took control of the gun and the police baton that he had brought with him,” according to Taber.

Kodzis appeared in a Plymouth court earlier this week to face charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, home invasion with a firearm, domestic assault, improper storage of a large capacity firearm, armed burglary and witness intimidation. He pleaded not guilty, and his bail was set at $25,000.
